Not as expected
The advertising images for this cross body bag look very different from the bag in person. I ordered this online and was rather taken back when I opened the package. The material is like thin, crinkled paper. The bag looks like literal trash I found under the seat of an old car. The whole thing is crinkled and wrinkled. The corners already look worn right out of the original packaging and have scuff marks. The colors and pattern were great ideas and this could have been a really cute, functional bag. Unfortunately the materials used created a total flop. Returning and do not recommend. REI needs to change the review process to allow pictures to be posted as I have several.

Echoing what the other reviewer said about the material of the bag. It arrived crinkled and the quality of the material isn’t as good or worthy of the price. It’s the exact same material as reusable shopping bag. Bummed because I love Chelsea Kauai & the design of the bag shown on the internet. My bag looks nothing like that.
