This tank started falling apart after one wash.
This tank started falling apart after one wash. After telling a family member I wanted this tank top as a Christmas gift, I was really disappointed to see how quickly the quality of this tank top started to deteriorate. The photos included are literally after the first wash. I didn't have this tank one month before it started showing signs of wear. Not worth the price and certainly wounld't buy again. Buyer beware.
Bring back the OG length! Too Short!
torso length is shorter. . . the sleeve length is longer. . . unfortunate design decision that I'm sure will continue to be the #1 negative review comment. was once the perfect men's athletic / leisure tee.
Best shirt in the game
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The perfect workout shirt doesn't exist. That was my thinking as through the years I had bought workout shirts from big brands to small brands and I always found something wrong them. Either they would shrink or they would be uncomfortable to wear while working out. But all that changed when I bought this shirt. I used to run a marathon and it felt weightless my sweat didn't get stuck to the shirt and it was easy to take off. In addition the shirt is super light and the fabric is comfortable. Never again am I buying another workout shirt that does not come from this company. They definitely hit the jackpot this shirt is to good to be true.
Bring back the old version!
I’ve relied on Ten Thousand’s shirts for years—they were the only workout shirts I wore. The fit, material, and weight were all perfect. I was excited to try the updated version, but unfortunately, the fit has completely changed. It’s now too boxy, the length is too short (any time I raise my arms, my stomach shows), and the sleeves are longer than before. The new tank top is not flattering at all either. I don’t understand why they would change something that worked so well. I really hope they bring back the old fit because the previous dimensions were spot on. Until then, I’m back to searching for the perfect workout shirt.
Too short
Way too short. The og version was perfect. Bring it back.
Miss the old ones
I was obsessed with the old cotton tees’ fit. It was a way more classic drape without any extra frills. The new ones have way too much added stitch patterns for my taste (double stitch down the length of the sleeve and sides and the reinforced neck on the inside) and it seems like they were made longer, with wider neck holes, and shorter sleeve lengths. They fit exactly like Lulu tees now which is unfortunate because the old ones were so great! The neck doesn’t lay flat so the fabric around where the upper chest meets the neck bunches and looks kinda sloppy. Love the brand and the attempt at modernizing the fit and materials but wish you kept it a bit more bare bones
Almost great
I'm a Ten Thousand fan, an early adopter from when the first shorts & tee were released, and since then bought other shorts which I consider best-in-class. I was really looking forward to this - the fabric is very comfortable, and generally the fit is great. However, the T came with flaw - it was pressed (ironed) at the shoulder which gives points that stick up like little horns on each shoulder. Even after washing and drying these points remain. I'll probably buy one of the raglan sleeve tees.
Very Comfortable, Well fitting shirt, minor flaw
This shirt is super comfortable, the fabric is super stretchy, and hugs my shoulders and waist well, which I've found most shirts have a hard time fitting both places well. Its thick enough that I trust its durability, but not so thick that it is warm, this shirt can still be worn in the heat. Minor flaw at the tip of the shoulder though, when I lift my arms, the seam folds up, and makes it looks like I'm wearing shoulder pads from the 80s. I'm hoping it'll relax after a few washes maybe. Its not uncomfortable, and doesn't affect the fit or function of the shirt, just looks a little funny, so still a 5 star product.
Awkward sizing and holds smells
I got a couple pairs of the Interval Shirt as a gift. I liked the shirts at first, even with the slightly awkward fit with its relaxed body width and quite short body length. The fabric also seemed durable and breathable. After wearing the shirts, however, they developed odors that I cannot seem to wash out. I'm not a particularly sweaty or stinky guy, but the armpit on the shirts always smell funky. I've had to soak the shirts in water and vinegar for 30-60 minutes every time before washing to minimize the smell. I've never had this happen with other workout gear, including my Interval Shorts. Very disappointing.
They changed the shirt. . . not what it used to be
I own several Versatile 2. 0 shirts, and unfortunately, it looks like they're cutting costs while keeping the price the same. The site used to have shirt length, fit type, body type, etc. No longer available. Instead, they don't tell you proportions to size and you end up buying a shirt that is shorter than their previous designs. And this is 100% the case for these shirts. When I compare the last Versatile shirt I purchased about 3 months ago versus the ones I purchased earlier this year, the new ones are about 2-3 inches shorter and narrower around the stomach. Not a fan whatsoever for a shirt I really love.
