I bought these thinking they’d be a nice everyday pant for warmer weather. While the material is light, soft, and stretchy, the fit is weird. I’m 5’11, 180lbs, with an athletic build. I bought a 34x32 to be loose in the waist and a little baggy. These were unfortunately really big, and the cut around ankles is super loose (like they’d fit around my mountaineering boots) but look silly with regular sneakers on. Fortunately/unfortunately they did not shrink in the wash so I guess I’ll wait for my second puberty to hit to see if I grow into these. Had I known the dimension issues I would have likely sized down to a 32x30.
These pants are garbage. The stitching on the front packets, crotch and back packets started to come out after 1 wash. The material is pitting after 1 wash in the crotch area. Finally, these are supposed to be the “updated” version and they’re easily 3 inches longer then last years model in the 30x30 Don’t waste your money. Move on and buy something from 5.11 or Vertex as both actually hold up to use.
Loved these pants .. until they changed them. This new design/pair is more than 3 inches longer then last years in the 30x30 and much wider in the thigh and at the cuff. Just when I thought I finally found a pair of hiking pants I could really enjoy .. the messed it up.
Wow. I've been upgrading my wardrobe from khaki s and jeans to outdoor pants. I love them, comfort they provide over jeans. Light weight and durable as well. I wear these at work and outdoors so the flexibility of use is endless.
These may be my new favorite pants. Purchased about a week ago and have been wearing them every day since I got them. I love the stretch and comfort of these pants. It's athleisure, but I can actually wear them to work. I have not taken them out on the trail yet, but intend to soon (once it cools off a bit). As far as fit, the waist runs true to size. I typically wear a 38 waist and the 38 waist fit's perfectly. In fact, it fits snug, but not tight nor loose. The length, however, was an issue. Typically I can get away with a 32" length (I like my cuffs to rest on the top of my foot because I am barefoot more often than not), but I needed the 34 length just to get to the top of my foot. So I would recommend sizing up one size for length. All things said, I have nothing bad to say about these pants. I'll probably buy at least one more pair in the future.
As stated above the stitching is very poor. The material is fantastic but means nothing when the stitches are garbage. Yes mountain hardware will replace but that’s never convenient. Design and materials are some of the best on the market for comfort but the stitching…junk.
These are great pants. the fit is good, a little on the slim side. I settled on my usual waist size, but I got a 34 length when 32 usually works for me. These have a button waist and zip rear pockets. They are a soft nylon material with lots of stretch.
These really are nice pants, I have several pairs of the AP pants and these are similar in every way except made with a light material. I plan to wear them on warmer days and to the office. I’ll likely buy more colors.
These are tough pants. I am an arborist and they get the “you know what” kicked out them daily. I own 6 total pair. Less laundry to do. They do run a little small. Size up if you can’t try them on.
Sone of the reviews say the pants are too baggy. Maybe I bought last years model? I got them at the outlet. Mine fit perfect. A slim (not skinny) fit. I’m thin (5’9” 133 lbs) I bought size 28x30
