Coming Unglued

I want to like the boots but I've only had them for three months and they are separating in several areas. Would recommend them if they used a stronger adhesion method. Hopefully I just got a defective pair and it's not an issue with all of them.

North Face boots evolved into a boot worth wearing

I’m not one to usually look towards North Face for footwear, I was impressed with my friend’s trail runners they had put out under the same Offtrail moniker, so decided to give these a try. I’ve been taken these hiking shoes out on a few wet/snowy hikes now. They’ve consistently kept my feet dry from the melting snow streams and mud, and provided solid protection against rocks and roots trails without feeling too disconnected. The grip is awesome, and the lugs seem deep enough that they won’t sheer off too quickly from any scrambles, but I’ll update if they don’t last long, or harden into that smooth slippery feel like a pair of my trail runners did (turning them into ice skates on the rocks). They are a bit heavier than some other hiking shoes I’ve worn. Initially, I was concerned this might lead to fatigue on longer hikes. However, I found that the sturdiness and support they offer is worth it. Overall, I’m enthused with these shoes so far, as it was a bit of a leap to grab them without any previous reviews any other customers or blogs (I like to find what a boots failure point typically is so I can reinforce it and preclude it from happening to mine), but couldn’t find any anywhere. That said I can’t wait to get them out deeper into the Shenandoah and all around Appalachia and to see how they hold up and break in to some real extended use.

I will buy more of these in different colors

I work in a warehouse with concrete floors and long hours walking around affects my back and whole body. It's been difficult to find boots or sneakers that can relieve that pain. I have found hiking hiking boots and expensive sneakers help the pain. These boots have been great since the first day. They absorb the unforgiving concrete floors all day. This means going through whole day knowing I won't have pain in my back or body. I will buy more of these in different colors.t

So good, I bought a spare pair!

Bought these boots on a whim, and glad I did. Due to some previous injuries, I need boots that offer great ankle support, while also being comfortable. These boots have fit the bill. Very comfortable, support is outstanding, the fit is perfect, and the wide toe box gives me feet a little extra room when wearing thicker socks on longer hikes. I like them so much, I bought another pair to put away for when these eventually wear out!

Had to return. The grey and black boot looks different

The grey and black boots look different than what's pictured. I went into 3 different Northface stores but none have the boot pictured. It's slightly different. SO ANNOYING WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. I just wanted what was pictured. Hopefully I get my money back after purchasing online. And it's not the lighting in the picture like another employee was saying. Im not dumb

The North Face Offtrail Hike LT Mid GORE-TEX® Boots are an excellent choice for anyone looking for a durable, well-built hiking boot that offers both comfort and longevity. From the moment you put them on, you can feel the quality in their construction. One of the standout features is comfort-they feel great on foot, providing solid support without being overly rigid. The GORE-TEX® waterproofing ensures your feet stay dry, which is a must-have for hiking in unpredictable conditions. Additionally, you can tell these boots are reinforced in key areas, giving them a sturdy, built-to-last feel. The eyelets are strong, which is a small but important detail that adds to the overall durability of the boots. Another great feature is the pull-on assist at the back, which makes slipping them on and off much easier-a thoughtful touch that enhances usability. Overall, these boots check all the right boxes for comfort, durability, and weather protection. Whether you're hitting the trails or need a reliable boot for everyday outdoor wear, these will hold up to the task. Highly recommended!

had to return

Bought these boots 2 weeks ago, but had to exchange them. They look great and probably one of the most comfortable I’ve ever purchased, but after 4 hikes the boots started falling apart unfortunately.

Misleading picture

The boots are nice but the picture is misleading they are mostly light gray with only black on the very bottom. A little disappointed with the color but overall very comfortable boots.
