Awesome Sun shirt, but fit could be better

Pros: I love the breathability of this shirt. I had the Blackdiamond Pro Hoodie at first and liked it but it was too hot in temperatures over 75... I like the zip version a lot better than the hoodie! I like the color a lot better than expected Cons: Unfortunately, its not very durable and you have to be very careful to not rip it. Fit. The size S is a little too snug and the size medium is too loose and arms are too long.

The lightest weight sun protection!

As a person with an outdoor career who is also an avid backpacker, I have tried SO many different UPF long sleeves. This has got to be one of my faves. Ultra breathable, thin, and soft. But please, PLEASE make in a light brown or taupe color!! I wore the light blue (arctic) on my Appalachian Trail thru hike and it showed dirt so easily and the area where my backpack straps got permanently stained. But, I'd never go with a darker or more intense color as it would get too hot in the sun (black and fuchsia are not great). Please create in light earth tone colorways so dirt can blend in easier :).

Deceivingly thin fabric

The fabric is incredibly thin and static. Highly unpleasant on skin. The colour is pretty

Sun Protection

I have numerous Echo tops, which are my go-to for hot weather sun protection. The extremely lightweight, breathable fabric is cool and breathable. I like the higher neckline of this shirt as it protects my neck from UV rays. However, the fabric is doubled up in the collar so it does get hotter in the neck than the rest of the shirt. At least the zipper allows occasional ventilation. A bit tight in the chest compared to the lower part of the shirt. 5''3", 127 lbs size small. The long sleeves with thumb loops provide good sun protection for my hands.

Love the fabric but not that durable

I love this fabric, I bought this for running in cooler weather and it provides a bit of extra warmth in the beginning and breathes beautifully when I start to sweat. Unfortunately after my second time wearing it, I noticed the seam next to the left thumb hole had stared to tear and the fabric had about a 3 inch run it it. I didn't keep the tags and also don't want to pay for return shipping and so I am choosing to live w it, if it runs further I will try to sew it. I normally love OR products and hopefully this is just a one-off.

Great for summer hiking, wish there were more colors!

This is a great shirt for summer hiking in the vegas heat, but why does the men's version have more colors? Wish the fit was more cropped but really like the quarter zip vs. a hoody. It does run a bit large. I'm normally an XS or S top and the XS is a bit looser fit which is good for hotter days.

Love it!

What a great shirt for the shoulder seasons. Super light material and excellent for hiking, biking, pickleball, etc.... Love this shirt. It fits me perfectly. I weigh 130-140 and got a small. It is great for keeping the sun off my skin. I love all the echo shirts.

Comfortable and durable

I've worn this backpacking on about 100 miles of the Colorado Trail so far along with other day trips and I love it. It's extremely lightweight, comfortable, protective, and durable so far. It also doesn't retain much odor which is great for multi-day trips.

would buy a second if there was another light color

Really is cool even with long sleeves. I like being able to vent with the zipper. Fit by normal size is loose enough for air flow, and sleeves nice and long. REALLY do not understand why a cooling garment is offered in black and not more light colors.

Super lightweight and very functional!

I love the echo line - they are super light weight, nice and soft, and dry so so quickly. Quality is great and the fuschia color is full and bright.
