[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I love the design and color of my glycerin 22s. I got the gray and charcoal color in size 10.5. They are true to size, wide toe box, fairly light weight, and great cushion. They did take a few walks and runs to form a little better to my feet. I noticed some soreness in my heels fresh out of the box, but 10-15 miles later and they feel great! I tend to overpronate and these seem to provide pretty decent stability and I don’t notice ankle pain as I have with other style/brands of shoes. Overall, I’d highly recommend! I will say, take some time for short fun runs to wear them in and don’t go straight for a half out of the box.
I recently got the Brooks Glycerin GTS 22 (4 pair), and they’re absolutely fantastic! These shoes are incredibly comfortable, thanks to the plush DNA Tuned cushioning that makes every step feel like walking on clouds. The sleek double jacquard knit upper looks stylish and modern, perfect for both running and casual outings. The quality is top-notch—durable outsole, sturdy GuideRails™ for stability, and eco-friendly materials that hold up mile after mile. They fit perfectly, with a breathable design that keeps my feet cool. Whether I’m hitting the trails or strolling around, these shoes are my new go-to. Highly recommend! 👌
Love these shoes! Gts needed for sure when running. Down side is not enough colors of the GTS versus the regular glycerins
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Glycerin GTS 22 by Brooks is a game changer when it comes to needing the right comfort and fit to avoid fatigue during you next adventure. I struggle with needing higher arch support and the GTS was just what I needed without adding in an alternate slip in. The wide toe base keeps me from having any sore/worn spots. They also feature cushion around the ankle and heel of the shoe. The steel gray color paired with the black sole has a perfect contrast. You can wear them to the gym or a casual outing. The fabric is durable and has no signs of wear or tear with daily use. It also has a thicker fabric for winter comfort. The Glycerin GTS 22 is a perfect running shoe for road or indoor use.
I used to run in Brooks about 8 years ago and was happy with the brand. I then switched over to Hoka and was happy with that brand. When I was preparing to buy a new pair of Hokas, I just couldn’t find a color that I liked. I took a look at this Brooks model and found that the specs were very similar to the Hoka model I’ve been wearing. The color choice was better too. I’ve been wearing the new Brooks for a couple of weeks now and I really like them. If anything, I find that they’re more comfortable and fit me better than the Hoka’s. I’m happy. I may change again in 8 years but for now I’m back to wearing Brooks.
Full disclosure, I am a large man. 6'3" 350lbs. I am on my feet on concrete for 10 hours a day. I am also a long time customer of Brooks. I wear a US size 14 4e extra wide. My go-to has been Ghost 16 for a long time. I was excited to try the Glycerin 22 GTS. Go to SUPPORT. Shoes were initially very comfortable, but within the first week, I felt like they were rolling to the outside. Not something I expected from a "support" version. By the 1-month mark, I was taking pictures of the new shoes compared to my many old pairs of Ghost 16s, which were not rolled at all. Very disappointed in a top dollar shoe. Back to Ghost 16 for me! Side rant: "Look at all the awesome colors....oh you're a 4E? You can choose Black or Gray!" What's up with that?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the shoe I was instantly impressed with the design and colors. The fit was amazing off the bat and wait till you take a step! Truly amazing. I’ll be fair and say I normally wouldn’t buy anything labeled as a “supportive” shoe so I am incredibly glad I got to try this one! It’s the quality and fabric choice/look you would expect from Brooks, which is a great thing. Also as someone who’s done some living I am in love with the way the shoe takes the pressure off my knees and back especially during runs. Makes a long day of activity or walking much more enticing when your feet and back don’t hurt! I would recommend this shoe to runners who are active, walks or stands a lot, or even has some knee or back issues after my experience. 10/10.
The Glycerin GTS 22 is a cushioned shoe with good stability and support. I can feel the arch support when I first walk in the shoes each day and then it subsides and feels fairly comfortable for the rest of the day. I don't run so I cannot comment on that but would imagine it would be good. I do have low arches but don't know that I need the GTS, but I tried the Glycerin 22 and it was a somewhat loose fit for me in the heel area as I need extra wide for my bunions so the rest of the shoe felt a little too wide. This shoe does not feel loose in an extra wide with the added support. Time will tell on the durability.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are comfortable and easy on the eyes as well. One aspect that I really like is the way the heel is designed. It makes pulling the shoes on very easy. Also, once they are on, the heel is very comfortable on the back of my feet. I will attach a photo of the back showing the heel design. These shoes feel very cushioned, adding a bit of bounce to my step which I personally like. I tend to have some heel pain and these shoes do not trigger the pain which is a big deal for me. I do personally like shoes to be extra wide to give my toes space, so if I could change one thing it would be to exchange for a wider option, but that’s just me and my preference. Overall, these are absolutely amazing and comfortable shoes in terms of look and feel. If they were wider, they would 100% be my everyday go-to shoe for work and exercise.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a fan of Brooks running shoes for a while now and the Glycerin GTS 22 did not disappoint. I run 10-15 miles a week a casually and have added these shoes to the rotation. They fit true to size and didn’t require a lot of time to break in and have the perfect amount of support and cushioning. While I primarily use these for running, they are so comfortable I find myself wearing them casually to run errands. I also love the overall look and color.
