This will be my new first choice pants for everyday usage. They're heavier than the Gamma SL (i also own), but at the end the fabric is more breathable and fresh to the skin. The comfort is top notch, they fit relaxed on waist (unlike the Gamma SL) and not tight on inseam, without being too fluffy (i'm 6.2'', 195 lb). The tight pocket is very useful to put your smartphone in a firm way while trekking, also a 6.6''. The other pockets are a little small, but do their job. The look is quite stylish, but sporty when necessary. The only doubt is the overall durability, but judging on the double seams i'll bet it will be great. Highly recommended!
One of my favorite pants!! I use this pants for indoor climbing and daily wear. I love the materials is cotton mixed and feels great. I am 5'9" and 175lbs and wear 32S size. Side pocket feature is a great add on.
Like another reviewer pointed out, the flap over the fly/ziper doesn’t sit flush. If you look at the model wearing the pant in the product photos, you can see the issue. One will feel that the fly is going to unzip which can be embarassing.
Hello there, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with the fly/zipper on the Kragg Cotton Pant. Our After-Sales team would be happy to take a closer look at any possible manufacturing defect. Not bad, but not great either. Really thin material, and lots of taper on the leg, the openings around the ankle are really small. I was hoping for something that fit more like the Cronin pant, the images look like it has a more relaxed fit. They fit pretty close to an older pair of Gamma LT's I have, but with less volume in the leg below the knee. Hoping they're durable, but they definitely don't feel like they'll take climbing abuse. I wish the material was heavier(robust) and the fit was more relaxed, would be 10/10 if this was the case.
Hi there, thanks for your thoughts on the Kragg Cotton Pant. It sounds like the fit and fabric weren’t quite what you were expecting, especially compared to the Cronin Pant. We appreciate your insights on the material weight and leg taper, and we’ll be sure to share your feedback with our team.
Not much since i bought them, but pretty much one of my favourite pants for sure. Been wearing them since in different occasions - commuting, cycling, going to work, driving and traveling and they do everything greatly. Fabric doesn't need ironing, the pants get back to shape quickly. I even don't mind that they could be a bit longer since i'm 195 cm (and there was no Tall option in the store), they fit perfectly.
These pants are overall nice. Comfortable, light, durable. They have two annoying flaws. First, the fabric over the fly doesn’t sit flush. You can actually see it in the product photos. It’s pretty annoying, it always looks like your fly is coming just undone. If you don’t tuck in your shirt then it’s not a problem. I also wish the inseam didn’t rise as high up as it does, could use a bit more room.
The material is underrated by the website pics. It has a comfortable weave texture which is quite stretchy. The front pockets are easy to store plenty in and the thigh zipped pouch wasn't big enough for a mobile phone but useful for keys. Being 6ft 4 inch the length of the pants was just great as so few pants cater for the tall. I bought these as arcteryx had no gamma sl or gamma pants 38Tall and was initially a bit disappointed with the Kragg. However, on wearing them, I found them to be very comfortable for spring and summer use . The material was comfortable next to the skin and felt lightweight. They are smart enough to wear on the fells and in the cafe afterwards. Dirt has been easily washed off and left no skuffed up material from rubbing clean. I hope they last a long time. I'm wondering if I should have got a size smaller they seem wider in the waist than the gamma pants. But there are loop holes and I recommend getting a wide 30 to 38 mm belt if needed as a narrower one rides up in the belt loops.
You just ruined the best pant design Arc has ever made, congratulations. These pants were always sold out and we all loved them. The ugly back pockets and the ridiculously cut legs are really awful. Why do you keep changing something when it works great for so many users???
Hi there. Thanks for sharing your feedback on the Kragg Cotton Pant. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the cut and pocket configuration. They are one of our newest addition for our current collection, however, we recommend looking at the Cronin Cotton Pant as an alternative. We appreciate your comments and we will make sure to pass them along.
Seriously comfortable and versatile pants. Dry quickly, stretch but goes back to initial shape instantly, Gusseted crotch, seems durable, perfect cut, I own 3 of them and they are the perfect summer and travelling pants. Oh, and they are super lightweight.
I think this pair of pants should be suitable for commuting and casual wear. I really like this pair of pants, and placed an order as soon as I saw it. At first, I liked the Cronin cotton pant, and I also placed an order.
