Great shorts for camping and climbing
These shorts are super comfortable and well fitting for my 5-year old daughter. We got the blue color and she absolutely loves it. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The inner liner short makes these great for rock climbing and camping, her two favorite things (or mine? I forget;))
Nice short kids athletic shorts
These are nice athletic shorts for children, although my son said they are too short for him. They are quite short, with maybe a 2” inseam. These shorts also have a liner, which is an interesting unisex feature. There’s a nice interior drawstring and the zippered pockets are amazing. I wish my athletic shorts had pockets like these- they are spacious and the zipper pull is rubberized. These are nice shorts, but given the length and liner, I don’t think I’d buy them again for my child.
Great wicking shorts with nice built-in liner
These shorts are adorable! Cute color, great wicking material and built-in liner. What’s not to love?! It’s designed for kiddos but can fit a small woman. (My kid didn’t want to test to so I did instead!)
Great shorts for everyday or any sport
[received as a promotion for review]These are technically kids active shorts, but I received an XL and they were a bit too large for my 13 year old daughter. They fit me perfectly. I didn't have this in my wardrobe and didn't know what I was missing. They are very lightweight, so perfect for hot summer days. Also perfect for different activities that I do, like weight training, yoga and tennis. They are lined inside which is good for doing inversions in yoga or playing tennis which helps to have an under layer that is able to stay dry when sweating a lot. They are slimming and flattering to boot. A great short!
Good active shorts for kids - with pockets!
My daughter enjoyed hiking around the desert in these shorts! They dry quickly which was great for riverside rock throwing. The pockets were great for storing all the fun rocks she saw too. I think her favorite part was that the shorts looked like all of mom’s running shorts so she felt grown up. The shorts were a great length and didn’t cause any chafing for her.
My daughter’s new favorite pair of shorts
My 7-year-old daughter loves these shorts. We received them in early spring, and she has worn them every chance she gets — for hiking, playing soccer, playing in the woods, running around outside, etc. She says they’re very comfortable, and she’s a big fan of the lightweight material and the blue color. I wasn’t sure if she’d like the inner liner, but she does. And she loves that the pockets have zippers. They fit slightly larger in the waist than her other size small shorts, but she’ll grow into them soon enough. For now, she just tightens the draw string or rolls down the waist band.
Need some sizing / fit changes
The fit on these is a bit off for a kid. Needs a little more length in the back and the pocket zippers need to be a bit easier to operate. To unzip the pockets you have to brace the fabric, or you effectively pull the shorts down by unzipping the pocket. My daughter was not a big fan.
Quick dry Summer Shorts with Sun protection !
The shorts was comfortable, soft and easy to wear. No buttons and no zippers and a stretchy material. It has an internal drawcord for tightening the shorts and two zipper pockets for bugs or whatever they catch . It comes with internal undies/brief for kids who resist wearing undies.
A teen pleaser!
These were acquired for my teenage daughter, which is always risky giving to a teen :) However, she says she really likes them. She says the fit is good and she likes the color (blue shale, kid's large). She is 13, 5'-6" and 120 lbs for reference. They are in her rotation for her competition dance team practice, which tells me they have a good range of motion. I expect to see her wearing them casually more this summer (for which i'm glad they have functional pockets) and I may just grab the other color too. Good all-purpose shorts for a good price point.
Versatile and Comfortable
Received these shorts during the cooler temps of winter but was excited for the opportunity to try the out with some indoor basketball. These shorts a a great blend of versatility and comfort. Enough room to allow movement without being restrictive but not so big that prevent you from wanting to use frequently. Love the drawstring and zippered pocket and the color is great. Our little one can’t wait to try these out on summer hikes and ready for additional colors.
