Treated me so well for a week in Ireland! I stayed dry and warm enough!! I sized up to be able to layer and even then it wasn't that big. Worked perfect. I didn't mind the high pockets mentioned previously. Love this jacket! Will serve me well in the future!
Absolutely great for hiking - windproof, waterproof, lightweight, definitely a good option:)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Northface rain gear was over 10 years old and needed to be replaced. I read the specifications for the Women's Antora Parka and knew it would be a perfect replacement! Online ordering was easy and the parka arrived within days. It was beautifully made, and had a lot of improvements over my two previous coats (which I loved anyway!). Unfortunately, I am one of those people whose hips are larger than their chest, and so while the top portion and the sleeves fit perfectly, it was too tight in the hips. Sadly, I returned it, and will try something different next time. And I better be quick, because it's rained nearly every day for the past two weeks!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Items that say they are waterproof they are but you need to water prooferize your items if you read the small print it will say treated with a product unfortunately North Face does not spray there items it is your job to do so and when you buy a tent they are water proof but not if they are not treated with a chemical some items are pre treated some you have to do I do religiously buy North Face and let me tell you once you treat the items the water just beaded rite off like on a windshield trust me I have lived and learned and also had to be told this same review I'm leaving you all hope you all take my advice and treat them and it will be waterproof I would not lie ...Good Luck
Gorgeous color! I already own a NF rain jacket that I've had for years; it's still in great condition. I saw this color and HAD to buy. I ordered a L and it's true to size.
I used this jacket on my last trip to Chile and Bolivia. This item is lightweight but offers a lot of protection. I absolutely loved it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went to Alaska on a cruise. Went to see the glaciers on a cool and rainy day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Personal Jacket. Loved it Great Material.
I bought this for a trip to London in October, and it was the perfect weight, needed a sweater too some days and just this jacket on other days. Some reviewers noted to size up. I would say it is sized to fit, not really to wear over a bulky sweater (I'm between M and L and like the L better). I have ended up wearing this almost every day walking the dog here in Houston during Fall and Winter. Plan to take on a hiking trip at the end of Summer, that will be a true test of how waterproof it is. Overall very happy with this purchase and the quality.
