I use a Clifton9 9w as recommended by staff at a runniing shoe store and it is the most comfortable i have ever had. Bought the Clifton 10 9w and it is the again the best ever, I am 75 years old so i have gone thru a few pairs of shoes. Thanks Hoka for adding another colour blue to wide option.

I had a few pairs of the 9's that served me well but man, these are terrible. I cannot believe how narrow they are, even though I purchased a "wide" pair. They're a neutral shoe but are especially unstable, possibly due to the narrow upper. I'll be taking them back and at this point, I think I'm just going to move onto a different brand - Hoka has only gotten worse and worse.

They run narrow, more than previous versions

I have had the Clifton 8, 9, and now the 10. Each year they have gotten narrower and narrower. The 8's were perfect width. They felt very normal. When I got the 9's, they were too narrow, so I had to go up to the wide width. The wide width was a little too wide, but it was better than having too narrow and hurting my feet. Now, I knew that I had to go with the wide in the Clifton 10's, as I had to get wide with in the 9's. Now, the WIDE width for the 10's fit almost like my original 8's, which weren't a wide width! If the next iteration gets any narrower, I won't be able to wear Clifton's at all. That being said, I do like the cushioning in these, and it feels even cushier than the 9's and 8's. Overall, I still like them, and still recommend them, but just know that they run narrow!

Only good for 75-100 miles - then very unstable.

Initially, these new Cliftons were great. And I am a big fan of the wider toe box vs the Clifton 9. But after only maybe 75-100 miles the foam has softened and become very unstable on the inside. Now I can't help but severely overpronate as the foam collapses (I'm a neutral runner with no overpronation issues). It caused intense pain in my knees and adductors - and switching to a different shoe fixes it. I have no such problem with other similar shoes (like the New Balance More). Hoka needs to rethink this shoe.

As a lover of Clifton 9's, I was skeptical to change my shoe. This Clifton 10's are very comfortable, the toe box is ample, no rub or uncomfort at the ankle. The typical HOKA feeling of a cloud like step is still very much there, with some rebound. I'm not a fan of the launched colorways; I prefer more neutral options, which I'm sure will come later.

I've worn all of the Clifton models and wanted to like the Clifton 10 but very disappointed due to it's lack of responsiveness and felt like I was running in sand so had to return. Not for a serious runner but maybe a good walking shoe
