Very versatile, perfect choice for varied tours.

The Skychaser is a very stable shoe with a high level of comfort, especially when worn for longer periods and over longer distances. It is really suitable for all surfaces - from meadows to forests, trails and mountain paths. Thanks to the Goretex it is also waterproof. However, the shoe is very stiff, which leads to a slight loss of comfort if you want to go a little faster downhill.

Insane amount of grip and really comfy

Love the design they can be paired with a range of different styles. They're genuinely really comfy and you can feel the cushioning with every step, especially on rough ground. As with any goretex product, they get a bit warm after wearing them all day in milder weather or indoors. Also, no need to worry about laces becoming undone every 2 miles like what happens with the boots was wearing before got these.

First pair to give me blisters.

I have purchased many Adidas shoes from the Terrex line. Unfortunately, compared to previous generations, this iteration is narrow in the toes, hot, and the laces snapped after a less than 65 miles of use. I put over 700 miles on my first pair of Terrex Fast R because I loved them so much. Sadly I had to change brands and buy a pair of Salomons instead.

Not reliable for a long hiking trip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the most expensive Adidas hiking boots in preparation for my two-week hiking tour. Imagine my disappointment when, on the second morning of wearing them — as I was putting them on — the long mono-shoe lace just broke. And I was already in the middle of nowhere. I couldn’t switch to another pair or order new ones. This purchase has been a huge disappointment to me. I really expected better quality from Adidas.

Great quality with a need for a little comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are high quality shoes with a spectacular look. Water proof, superb grip for both hiking and slick surfaces. The Continental tred and Gortex are excellent additions. The slip lace works flawlessly and is easy with the well designed keeper. The shoes could benefit from a few tweaks. They are narrow at the base, almost like a cleat which is not ideal for hiking where wider grip platform is key. Also, they could use a little more of the Adidas signature cushion in the heal and arch. Although still comfortable, I was hoping for a little more of the cloud feel than the boot feel.

Rugged, very uncomfortable. Feet ache after hike.

I hike every weekend about 6 miles through the mountains of the Phoenix, AZ desert. Rough terrain, rocky trails, with many elevation changes. These shoes are well built. But they hurt my feet so bad. Too tight around the ankles. Bottom of the feet hurt. The shoes are so stiff with no comfort. I would not recommend these to friends. Taken them on 4 hikes so far and the only part of my body that hurts is my feet. The grip quality of the sole is great, really latch on to rocks. Wanted to love them but they really really hurt to wear.
