Good outer gloves - would change the liners

I've taken these on two military field exercises now in temps ranging between 15-40 F and have been happy with them. The outer gloves stayed dry when it rained and my hands stayed warm when I was stationary for about 6 hours straight in 25 F temps. The biggest thing I would change from these gloves is the liners. The ones that came with the gloves were kind of an awkward fit and they didn't shed sweat very well so I paired the outer glove with the OR 2020 merino wool liners. This combo worked great and I don't feel like hardly any warmth was sacrificed. the pieces of Velcro that connect to the outer glove to the liner it comes with weren't really missed. I'd recommend OR pair the merino wool liners with this glove. It may increase the price but I think it would be a better product.

They are good but not great.

They are warm and nearly water/snow proof when doing nearly any activity. If not moving hands do get cold. As in previous reviews they do fit small. I am normally a large, but ordered an extra large and lucky I did as the XL is snug. Putting the glove on with the liner inserted is hard. Way easier to pull the liner out, put that on and then put the shell over.

Yes , I recommend this product

Good for warmer days

As another reviewer mentioned these do seem to fit a bit small but not outlandishly. They're really good for days around -10c on the hill, maybe -15c in the backcountry when your blood is flowing a bit more from walking. Had them out on a chillier -20c day and was fighting cold fingers for most of the day, not the gloves fault but mine on that one!

Too Small!

Bought a few weeks ago to use for early winter trail riding. They are well made but the pair of XLs I have are way too small. I simply cannot use the liners inside the outer glove. The outer by itself is ok to just below freezing but anything below that they are useless.

Great Product

Excellent fit, and warmth. I enjoy full-finger gloves over mittens for dexterity. The fabric did not get wet on the outside at all. The wrist sinch straps are a little hard to manipulate with the gloves on.

Great Gloves that stand up a abuse

I used these gloves on multiple ski vacations and mountaineering trips. They held extremely well and kept the digits warm and toasty. The wrist straps are perfectly placed and rarely get in the way.

Fair price for fair warmth

I like these gloves. For me, the fit was good save for the fingers being a bit on the short side. Good for warmth down to a certain temp but not below freezing. Nice styling and build.

Awesome gloves

After one use these gloves are by far the best I've used. Great heat retention. Good mobility. Backed with the OR guarantee won't be buying another pair for deep cold again. Nailed it.

good

If the temperature is very low, you should tighten the gloves on your wrist and arm and keep moving. After 5 minutes my fingers are no longer frozen
