Nice but not perfect.
These gloves have amazing fit and dexterity. When I first tried them on, I had to get them. They actually do fit like a glove! Nice long cuff to cover your wrist with good stretch. They’re not the warmest gloves. A bit warmer than fleece but better protection. They’ll probably be good for spring skiing. A couple of minor annoyances: the small loop attached to the cuff is pretty annoying and useless so I cut it off. Also, the clasps are placed in an odd position, almost on the palm. As for the touchscreen fingers- like most gloves, not very good.
Great multipurpose glove!
I live in North Idaho, so weather can vary greatly during the fall/winter. I have used this glove for things as simple as scraping ice off of my windows, shoveling snow, hiking, running in cold weather, walking the dog, and upland bird hunting. The fit allows for easy use of the hands and I can even shoot the shotgun with the glove on. It keeps my hands warm down in the 20s. It is designed (IMO) for active use, so I don't it would be a good glove for sitting in temps below mid 20s. I like the glove so much I ordered a few pairs. I plan to keep a pair in my Jeep and spread the rest across my various gear kits. Great glove!!

Fits Like a Glove... Lol!
Having been involved with the outdoor retail industry for over 25 years, I'm no stranger to the quality product from OR. That being said, I have many pairs of OR gloves for different seasons/pursuits. It wasn't a gamble getting the Sureshot soft shell gloves in my size. (Their fit is consistent through the glove category. What I didn't expect is how much I would end up using them. Cold weather bike commuting, shoveling snow, walking the dogs and of course the perfect mid-weight glove for the backcountry. I'd like another pair just to stretch the life over the next several years. Highly Recommend!
Exceptional performance
I bought these for everyday wear in 30-50 degree weather of all sorts and they do not disappoint. Some of the best general purpose gloves daily use gloves I have ever had for keeping my hands warm. I have a whole collection of gloves, including others from OR, that do not meet that goal. I suspect that those reviewers that find fault with warmth or wind resistance simply did not get the right fit for their particular hand shape. These gloves are water-resistant (not proof) for up to two hours and did allow me to check my phone but just barely, so keep those expectations reasonable. They are comfortable and let me work outside for a long time with comfortably warm and flexible hands. Buying more so I can clean the non-performers out.
Would reccomend
These Gloves have a great balance of dexterity and warmth. Wore them hunting on a windy day in the mid 30s - low 40s and they kept my hands nice and warm and still allowed me to load and shoot unimpeded. The clip is a nice touch and helps keep them together in a backpack or bag. I will say, I wouldn't want to handle rope or anything like that for an extended period of time with these gloves as the palm of the hand has fairly limited amount of that leather protective layer.

Great gloves with one small issue
These are great gloves that balance warmth and breathability very well. I wore them as touring gloves in Japan and in the BC backcountry, and even with copious amounts of snow and variable wind and temps, they performed extremely well. I would recommend hitting them with some leather conditioner right out of the box, as the leather did tend to get a bit wet as temps climbed. But that moisture never made it to the interior of the glove, so it didn't seem to affect performance. My only small complaint is that the liner is a bit loose inside the glove, so sweaty hands sometimes required a bit of finger wiggling to get the liner in the right position to let fingers into the right slots. It was pretty minor though, so not a reason to dislike the gloves. Just an opportunity for improvement. Fix that, and they're a solid 5 star option.

Narrow fit in the middle of the hand and not so warm
I bought these to use in the backcountry when its windy out. My back country is cold and I found these gloves to be quite cold, colder than the sensor glove series. I'm not sure if that is because the fit very tight across the palm in an L (reducing circulation) its surprising my other OR gloves are much larger in the same size. My climate is very dry perhaps they would be better in a warmer wetter climte.
Eh.
These fit really nice and have great dexterity but they don't hold up to cold weather. Anything below about 30 degrees and you will have quite cold fingers. The touch screen pads do not work at all. I put that I would refer them because they do fit super awesome and keep you warm in mild cold weather. Use them for shoveling, walking the dog, and getting ready/gearing up to ski.
These Gloves Aren't Good!
These gloves are not good. 1. They aren't warm; in particular, my fingers were freezing in dry, 45-degree weather. 2. The computer/cell phone touch doesn't work. I routinely had to remove my gloves to manage my phone. Just pass on these, as I am sending mine back, and for the time being staying clear of OR gloves. This is my second under-performing pair.
