[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit I partly bought this shoe due to hype and good reviews. It’s also very lovely to look at. However, it is staying in my rotation because as a heavy runner (6ft & 250lbs) the Lightstrike Pro midsole provides the perfect amount of bounce and softness/firmness ratio. It can handle my super slow pace without complaint, and helps me out on my run. I don’t use it for every run as I like to switch things up, but it puts a smile on my face when I take it out. PS I switched out the laces for shark tooth ones, but it’s definitely runnable in the originals too. Oh and I went with my cm size rather than uk size.

After years of searching finally i found this, this is not a good shoes this is the best running shoes that ever made, sharp light, responsive, comfortable, stable and with a excellent price.
I absolutely love these and until production ends on this line I will always buy from it. The Evo SL‘s feel great for daily use and when I want to go for a nice run in Texas Heat. The only downside which is just a nitpick to me is the tongue. The material feels a little flimsy and won’t stop folding. But it doesn’t matter cause it’s just something small out of a jam packed shoe! I compared it to a pair of hoka carbon X3’s and honestly the adidas just feel even better! I love the looks, feel, and everything about it just hits! Photo was taken before I bought the pair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Adidas Adizero Evo SL delivers exceptional comfort, making every run feel like you're gliding on clouds. The cushioning is fantastic, providing a smooth and responsive ride, especially on long-distance runs. I’ve found them to be a great companion for extended workouts, ensuring a soft yet supportive feel throughout. However, despite their comfort, there are some drawbacks. The durability is questionable; noticeable signs of wear appear after just a few miles, which is concerning. The tongue constantly shifts and folds, resulting in discomfort and requiring frequent adjustments. Another issue is the shoelaces, which struggle to maintain proper tension. After 8–10 miles, I often have to stop and re-tighten them, disrupting the flow of my run. Best Feature: Comfort—unparalleled cushioning that makes every step feel effortless. Worst Feature: The tongue—its tendency to move and fold is frustrating. Overall, I like these shoes to the point that I own two pairs and plan to run the Sydney Marathon 2025 with them! While they’re a joy to run in, I do wish Adidas would improve their durability and tongue/lace security for an even better experience.
Light, bouncy and fast! I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out.the only issues I have with the shoe are first the tongue moves around a little and it’s slightly hardto get the shoe locked down in the heal ( very minor issue). It might help if they use a gusseted tongue . Also, I’m not a fan of the laces. they feel cheap/ flimsy but they do get the job done. Lastly Please add some additional color ways. I’m not a fan of black or white running shoes. One gets dirty to quickly and the other is too hot.also the green is a little much Nice job addidas! My complaints are minor , and I I really like running in those shoes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had dozens of running shoes in the past and this is probably my all time favorite. Springy, light, comfortable. Considerably more lively than my Boston 12s. Probably destined to last a while too based on the Lightstrike Pro shoes I've had in the past. Upper so comfortable I took it out for an HM for their second run without issue. I have a somewhat wide foot and historically Adidas shoes have needed a little breaking in around the little toe to work for me. Not so on these, but I could see the upper being a bit roomy for those with narrow feet. Great grip from the outsole, as expected for a modern Adidas shoe. If I needed to come up with a complaint, I wish the tongue was gusseted so it didn't move around when I was putting on the shoe.
These shoes are very comfortable and have a nice pop for a non-plated shoe. Great tempo shoe and good for base runs as well. Wouldn’t take them out for a long run as they are a tad unstable. As someone who overpronates quite a bit and is used to the more stable hoka platform for daily shoes, I honestly thought the stability would be worse but its still manageable. Toe box is a little roomy; not lengthwise but it almost feels baggy. Heel lockdown is very good. Has a great rocker to it aswell. Overall, great shoe. Definitely recommend to most runner looking for a shoe that can handle all paces well and accells at quicker paces.
After watching reviews of this sneaker, i dexided to pull the trigger a buy them. I got the All Black pair cause they look phenomenal!!! I used them recently in at the NYRR Al Gordon 4m run and managed to PR for rhat run and PR in my 5k! My two issues with this show is the tongue, it is too short and not gusseted. When i put my foot in i have to pull and arrange the tongue cause it tends to fold on itself. My second issue was the laces, they could have been a bit longer and a bit thicker since the tongue is thin. I decided to switch laces and so fsr so good. But overall, it is a very good, comfortable and bouncy sneaker!
I bought these shoes based on the recommendation to order my usual size (9.5), which has worked well for me in other running shoes. However, after running just 15 km, my toes were badly bruised and turned black. Clearly, the sizing or fit isn’t ideal for longer runs. I’m quite disappointed, as I trusted the sizing advice and expected better comfort and performance. I hope the brand sees this and can offer a solution — whether that’s a refund or an upgrade to a better-fitting size.
