“Feet down” the best shoe in its class!!!

***Probably the best running shoe I’ve ever purchased***, Just to preface, I am 6’4 240 pounds I run 2-4 times a week 3-4mi and these glycerin max hold up so well (I wear out most pairs of shoes within two months), extremely comfortable/stable good response when I pick up speed, I read a couple reviews before I purchase people said they were a little on the Heavier side I think they’re perfect weight, good room in the Tow box, the tongue and heel are very plush and comfortable your feet do not slide around like other brands would and this similar style of every day running shoe! Huge shout out to Brooks did a killer job on the shoe

Comfort Meets Style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid runner, I was really excited about these shoes. They are true to size and extremely comfortable. In terms of comfort it’s definitely a 10 out of 5. Super light and running in them feels like walking on clouds. I like walking and running with my kids and these are perfect for running on concrete. The cushion really helps with the knee pain that I get now in my “old” age. All my running shoes are from this brand but I never tried this line. The shoes are definitely more stylish than my normal shoes. I would have preferred more white rather than a yellow that reminds me of glow in the dark stickers.

Very comfortable minimal break in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are great! Very easy on the feet and very minimal break in. The only downside and reason I knocked off one star is because the sizing was off by a bit the shoes run slightly larger than usual. Otherwise I have no problems, they look sleek and feel great. I typically feel within the first mile if the shoes are going to work out or not for me since I have a high arch and I felt great and was able to run 10 miles with no issues. For break in I simply just wore them around for running errands prior to breaking them out for a run and they needed minimal break in. I am going to continue to wear these and re purchase. Will update review when I see how long lasting they are.

Comfortable shoe but not right fit

It's a nice shoe. Very comfortable. I really like it and like the color. I bought a 10.5 size shoe. But I am not sure if it's the right fit for me. It comes only as a regular/medium size, and it seems a little bit tight for me. I have to untie and tie the laces every time I need to wear the shoes. It's very annoying and frustrating as well as tiresome. It hurts my fingers as I have to kind of put effort and struggle to inset my feet. I wish they made it in wide-width size. But I am still giving it a try to see if it loosens up over time. If not then I will have no other option but to return those.

Our problem isn’t with Brooks shoes, but with Brooks’ beliefs.

I have two complaints about Brooks: First, they didn’t release a wide size for this shoe. Second, they didn’t offer solid, neutral colors like black and white. Therefore, I believe this shoe has the potential to be the best in the world for years to come—if a wide size were made available. Brooks has ruined the joy of this shoe by only offering it in a regular width! When will Brooks realize that its running shoes are also suitable for everyday use and semi-formal wear? And that there’s a large audience who uses their shoes for purposes other than running?

Maybe my favourite running shoe of all time

Personally I never write reviews but for this product I felt compelled to. I am 39, 85kg, 5'10 and forefoot striker. I've been running a lot for 25 years. I am also fortunate to have owned a majority of the shoes that truly sit in the max stack category from all the other leading brands (Asics, Adidas, Nike, New Balance, Hoka) and for me this shoe sits a the top. Its extremely comfortable on step in and that doesn't change even after running 22k. Midsole cushioning is not mushy but also not too firm, perfect balance. I have never purchased a Brooks product before this but I am already eying a second colour way as I now reach for these for every run.

Walking is A pleasure again

I am a lifetime runner who cannot run anymore. Knees. My Ortho says no hi impact running or surgery. I have been looking for a supportive shoe with the best possible pavement impact protection. Have owned many Hoka shoes and they were OK. Decided to try the new Glycerin max. First few feet on the pavement and you immediately notice the difference. Very soft isolated pavement feel but not marshmallow like. Great support. Soft impact and the front cut in the shoe helps to push you off. Love the color as well. Last week got caught in the rain and the shoe was excellent on a slippery wet road. I’m enjoying my time in the shoes. looking forward to hitting the pavement again. Now to find a model that this good for every day walking .

Outstanding...Best Brooks Shoe Yet

This is the most comfortable of all the Glycerin series shoes I have had in the past. The cushioning is super, like walking on a sponge. But despite the softness I feel the stability is excellent, I never feel I am losing my balance. This review is from a senior citizen who uses them for long walks in the Florida sun and heat. I have deformed feet that require me to use strong custom orthotics in my shoes for all activities. The Glycerin Max makes my feet feel great and motivate me to walk longer distances than usual (3 mile walk earlier this week). Highly recommend...Great running or walking shoe...The best Brooks shoe yet!

Glycerin Max

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi! Today, I tested the new Brooks Glycerin Max sneakers during my workout. I waited a whole month for them to arrive from the US (the special order was totally worth it!)—and they are absolutely amazing! 💥 Unbelievably soft, stable, as if they were perfectly molded to my feet. The Brooks Glycerin Max is truly designed for comfort: plush DNA LOFT cushioning and great support. Plus, a cool design and style. By the way, they’re not just for running—if you love long walks or an active urban lifestyle, these get my recommendation."

Springy and super cushioned

It is super cushioned but springy at the same time. An issue I've had with other high cushion shoes is it feels as if you're pulling the shoe off the pavement, but that's not the case with the Glycerin Max. I'm dealing with a pretty serious hip OA so these still allow me to get some miles in. My fitness level at the moment doesn't give me a good feel for how the rocker design can aid in pushing off/forward but I can see where it would. In a normal training block I would definitely use these for long and recovery runs. It's nice to have a cushioned alternative to plated shoes which I cannot run in at the moment. Thanks so much Brooks for coming out with this!
