My 13 y/o kid started downhill biking this summer, and we're big fans of Fox gear, so I bought this helmet. Right color, right price point, right fit. My son unfortunately had a nasty crash that resulted in a concussion and 5 fractured lumbar vertebrae. Based on how his friends found him, he had landed head-first. Looking at his demolished helmet, I am 100% positive this saved his life and he was able to walk away and ride another day. We (obviously) had to trash that helmet, but I bought him the exact same one for future rides. I am so thankful he had this on and we're even more loyal to the brand. Some other reviews on the internet talk about the funky chin strap. I'll admit, it's not my favorite, but once you practice a few times with it off your head, its fine. If my derp kid can figure it out, so can you.
