color bleeds continuously
I’ve worn these over 20 times over the last five weeks having washed them once and still need to clean blue out of our cream colored carpet every time I sit on the carpet. At first I couldn’t believe the blue stain was from these jeans and then my wife took an old white t-shirt and rubbed them on the pants and sure enough the t-shirt was very blue. I’ve never owned any clothing that continually bleeds color like this which is too bad because I otherwise like the jeans. I need to return them as we can’t keep sponge washing our carpet and J can’t remember not to sit on the floor when I am wearing this one particular item.
Great pair of jeans for bike commute/everyday wear
Bought this for my bike commute during fall/winter months. So far it has held up great, even during the latest blizzard at subzero temperatures with just a pair of long johns underneath. When the weather is warm, I wear it on its own and it is still very breathable while still being windproof. It gets wet on the outside unlike other weather resistant/proof gear, but you're still dry on the inside.Comfort-wise, they are extremely comfortable and stylish. Love them!
Added to my regular rotation
There are quite a few features about these Duer jeans that put them into my regular rotation of jeans. I bought the all-weather denim because Midwest winter brings wind that pierced through clothing to make being outdoors painful. These pants fixed that problem while being comfortable. They are relaxed fit but not loose or baggy looking. They stretch so they aren’t restrictive in any way. They breath well enough that I’m not sweating while indoor. Great combo of protection from the elements while suitable inside at warmer temps. These jeans are nice enough to wear to casual meetings with nice shoes and a button down shirt. There is one drawback that I’m aware of. I have a golden retriever and these pants attract the hair more than any jeans I own. The hair clings to them so I have a lint roller in my truck to show up to meetings presentable.
All weather except Michigan
When it’s cold and windy I could feel the wind cut right through the pants. Over all the pants are nice. Just not as “all weather” as their title claims. Especially for Midwest winters. They are nice and comfortable and in an environment where weather is moderate, they would be perfect. Also, I feel they are a little bit pricey for what they are. But if you don’t care about that and you’re in the right climate, I would recommend them.
An all-weather jean
I have a few Duer jeans, including the Fireside Denim, which is my usual go-to for colder days. I live in the Pacific NW so these pants get pulled out when I want something that is not going to get wet easily when it's drizzling out. I often get the slim-fit but ordered relaxed one size smaller in these so that I could wear a long-sleeve tight underneath on colder days if I needed extra warmth - works great.
very well contructed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pair I'd jeans fit me perfectly and look to be very well sewn together . I purchased them because of the water resistant lining and gusset crotch. These are hard to find in denim jeans. The jean material has some stretch to it also, so it should be good for extreme range of motion. I like to explore the forest and I think these will be great for hiking adventures.
Amazing Winter Pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my all weather pants. They’re definitely more than capable of handling the extreme cold temperatures, while not overheating your lower body. For those who love to squat I’d definitely recommend purchasing the relaxed version as they will give you the wiggle room you crave, while still giving you the tapered streamlined look and feel.
Good but the sizing is off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants are good in the rain. The fabric takes some getting used to. Not sure about the “secure” pockets. My biggest complaint is the waist size and the taper. This is my third pair of Duer pants and the waist is much larger than my other two pairs. The taper isn’t as pronounced so they look like regular fit relaxed.
Highly Recommended for Winter Commuters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants checked all the boxes for me. Windproof. Waterproof membrane. Stretchy. Designed for movement. Wearable off-bike, dry quick. And if they are like my other pairs of Duer pants, they will last for years of use. If you commute, or spend time outside in winter, don’t hesitate to buy a pair
A bike commuter's best friend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the colder months, even in the 40's, I can ride in comfort without the need for a base layer. I swapped the relaxed version out for the slim and I really enjoy these jeans. I look forward to buying a pair of Performance Denim Athletic Straight later this year for when the weather warms up.
