This ski is a sweet sweet blend of flirty, and forgiving. It is quick to respond, and very nimble with dips, darts, and dashes. I really enjoy this ski for learning new tricks as it is easy to maneuver. While it is a strong ski, I would consider it more on the playful side, and not my go-to for hard charging (you're going to want the SOS or Rafiki for that). It's a GREAT all-around ski for the beginner/intermediate skier, but as a seasoned freeride competitor I like to take the Lil Nasty out for a cruise when I'm trying to get a new trick around, or when I want to have a mellow day with my friends :)
The lil nasties are such a fun ski! They are so responsive and playful, I can’t get enough! I ride the 166 SOS but demoed the 173 and I loved having a bit of extra length. These skis are super easy to turn and have so much pep in their step 🤩
As an avid backcountry skier the Lil Nasty was a pivot adoption for more time in the resort and did not disappoint. Smaller under foot ( 94) allowed for quicker and faster turns on fresh, firm and steep groomers. The moderate stiffness was playful but firm enough to be able to ski fast an trust each turn in reliable and variable conditions. It is a true "little sister" to Coalition's award winning all mountain SOS ski. The next gen All Mountain ski to keep it easy but ski hard. She even floats in POW. Enjoy.
...most days a Lil Nasty Snack is all we need ;) Honestly, these easy-turning, fun and friendly skis slay! They feel much lighter than my SOS and overall less burly than my Rafikis - they sit somewhere perfectly in the middle. Love'em, and I know you will too :)
I'm ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with the Lil' Nasty, she's an all mountain ripper. I demoed the 173 and at first was a little nervous because I usually ski a 164-168. But as soon as I got on snow with this ski, I was blown away by the quick turning radius and the ability to make quick maneuvers like jump turns in steep chutes or moguls. I also loved the 94 underfoot waist, giving me the ability to still lay into some carves on groomers, but still being able to play in some soft snow on those dust on crust kind of days.
