I tried the hurricanes on at REI and was amazed at how comfortable and stable they felt. I opted not to purchase them due to the light color, but I see they have an all black version in men’s so I’ll most likely purchase those. Being 54 years old, having had a knee reconstructed, and a history of plantar fasciitis and sciatica post surgery, I feel like these shoes are designed for people that need relief from pain as well as a supportive, comfortable shoe. I did notice that they were wider in the toes, which for me is great because I need more room for my toes these days. My feet have changed as I’ve gotten older. I’ve gone from a size 11 women’s, normal width to a size 11 1/2 wide. These shoes fit perfectly with room to spare in the toes in my original size 11.

I was having some arch pain that would shoot up my calves on my longer runs, I was worried I would have to miss my April half marathon. These shoes provided the needed extra support and structure and still have that "bounce" that I loved so much in the Triumph shoes. The color is also super cute!

The shoes are clunky and loud and just uncomfortable to actually walk in- also there is a type of plastic inside the shoe at the toe that catches the nail- so for me they have become unusable
