good bag, fair price
With higher denier fabric than competitors at this price, the bag works as advertised, definitely waterproof when not being fully submerged.
Lightweight for sure
If you are committed to lightweight everything, including your stuff sacks, these are for you.
Good bag in a petrochemical package
The bag is OK. It works as advertised. My beef is with the package, a stiff non-recyclable non-biodegradable plastic. I thought it was cardboard until I almost threw it in the wood stove to light my morning fire. REI, what are you thinking? It would be so easy to put these dry bags in something more closely aligned with your chest-thumping about environmental stewardship.
