Solid Trail Shoe - Durable & Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the Cascadia 18 is a fantastic trail running shoe that excels in traction, stability, and overall durability. Sizing was perfect for these and fit as expected. The styling of the shoe is solid and they can be worn even when not running on the trails. They were easy to break-in as I was able to run 5+ miles the first time out. Keep in mind that they are slightly more chunky which contributes to their durability, but they are heftier and something to keep in mind. I believe these shoes will last a long time and will be fine even in colder or wet conditions. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a stable trail running shoe!

Versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cascadia 18 right out of the box has an amazing silhouette. The “coconut” color model has a clean look, with all of the classic Brooks details. The shoes are extremely comfortable, very light, and fit almost perfect to my foot. The lace system works great and feels very secure. I have worn the Cascadia 18 on several trail runs, through water, mud, heat, and rain. The grip and “cleat” like sole pattern makes for great balance and amazing traction! Even on wet ground the Cascadia 18 were solid and provided support! the mesh material allows my feet to breath even during warmer days. I would highly recommend the Cascadia 18.

Great Terrain Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Cascadia 18s as a shoe I could wear both jogging and hiking. I have some dirt trails near by where I would feel more comfortable in a more durable running shoe and these shoes were the perfect match. They provide excellent stability and can handle the conditions of an off trail jog. They are also light enough where I can use them for a regular road run as well. The sizing was true and it only took a few wears for the shoe to break in. The overall style is solid and not too flashy which I appreciated as well. I can wear these for a walk around town if I need to as well. I would definitely recommend these shoes to a friend looking for a versatile work out shoe for the summer.

Terrain Runners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had shoes from this brand before, and I have not lost faith yet! The grip, the support, and the comfort are all things I’ve come to expect from Brooks. These shoes fit extremely well, and provide excellent support for my arches. I haven’t been in the gym as much lately, so I’m trying to ease back into my fitness journey by spending time outside on trails, and these help tremendously! They absorb shock as well as provide incredible grip on rough terrain. The laces pull my foot in a way that makes them feel like they are a part of my foot. I am very happy with these shoes!

Pretty Good Vintage

The ninth iteration I have tried. Not as sloppy as the 17 and like the feel of the width on my narrow high arch. Hope the tread lasts better than on the 17's. The 16's still have a decent amount left and use them as knock arounds. My niggle is the tongue. Never had to pull it out and up before each lacing with the other models. Otherwise it bunches where it is attached in the front. Attached straight across and not in the more "V"way my 16 is (threw the 17's away because they didn't wear as well). Easy break in. Now to see if the tweaks in the new model hold up to daily use.

Great shoes for rough terrain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my pair of Cascadia 18’s! I am a size 12 and the shoes fit just right. I especially appreciate the wide toe box. They are designed for off-road running or walking and do a great job keeping good traction in these situations. Since these shoes are meant for off road running, it’s great that they have an outer layer that is easier to clean compared to most running shoes. The only issue that I have run into is that whole these shoes are great on trails and gravel, they are a little more slippery than average shoes on wet cement.

Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I’ve been loving these for my trail runs! It’s stable and offers good support with the thick cushioning around the heel. I like the reinforced protection around the shoe, since it allows for greater ventilation while protecting against rocks and debris. However, do note that the tradeoff is that there is less coverage on the upper. Also, there are velcro straps on the back of the heel for gaiters. That’s a small, but a very neat addition. Fit wise, they are just a bit snug but pretty true to size. Not for wide feet though!

Cascadia kicks are great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are now in my rotation for running short distances. They are comfortable and clean looking. I love the color on these shoes because they are light and nice and go with any color of casual clothes. They don’t get that dirty and when they do it doesn’t show too poorly. I have worn them on the street and different types of turf and they have held up their color and style. These shoes are comfortable for the most part. They are a bit snug on the sides but so far that hasn’t bothered me in my training sessions. They have great cushion inside that allows you to be bouncy and comfortable. If I could change anything I would make them a little wider (not longer). Other than that I love them and use them regularly ! The design is versatile and youthful!

My New Favorite Hiking Shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so excited I found these hiking shoes! I live right next to a hiking mountain that leads up to a nice tower and I’m always looking for all-terrain, true to size hiking shoes that have a lot of grip on the sole and let me tell you, these shoes have everything! The color of the shoes goes with any outfit you have which is perfect! They are on the heavier side for weight of shoe, but that’s because they are made for hiking and not for running. Overall, I love them and can’t wait to hike up so many mountains with them!
