Love this jacket. My daily, set it and forget it!

I work in surveillance and in a room with bunch of computer servers in the room. The room is literally 62 degrees all year long. I literally never take this jacket off. Sooo.... for some reason I keep thinking I'm a medium, but every time I get it, it's a little too big and end up getting a small. I'm a 5'5 Asian and weigh 150 average build. Honestly I could use the medium and the small I'm like right in that sweet spot. I just personally I like the small better. I wish there was like a olive green one tho... overall good daily jacket can't go wrong, really warm, perfect if you live in the north east where you get all the weathers in the same week! #NorthFace4Life

Almost perfectly warm

It's like a wearable teddy bear - it's extremely comfortable and warm. It's not entirely 'wind proof' however it's not as bad as the other reviews may make it out to be. It's overall warmth is very dependent on whatever you're wearing under it. I wore a cheap t-shirt underneath on a mid-30s day with a breeze and my skin not covered by the t-shirt layer could feel the wind but my torso couldn't. That said, my torso covered by the t-shirt felt no different that it would have if I had been wearing a normal heavy coat. A few days later on a colder day with a breeze I wore a long sleeve t-shirt and any noticeable bite from the wind was gone.

This is my 3rd Denali 2 Jacket

I am a totally satisfied repeat customer. This is my 3rd purchase of this product over the past 25 years. I wear them until they start to get thin or the zippers get sticky. I wear this product daily for ski patrolling. I wear it under a sleeveless patrol vest and it works great. Warm, breathable and water resistant it is exposed to the elements on a daily basis. I have worn my Denali jackets on numerous mountaineering trips throughout the Rockies and winter camping trips in northern Minnesota. I have both worn them and used them as a pillow, they're that comfortable! I also really appreciate my latest purchase is made of recovered recycled materials.

High quality fleece that needs a wind-proof lining

Some feedback for the makers: the jacket needs to be lined on the inside with a wind-proof barrier. This would also be helpful in the sleeves so that your shirt doesn't catch on the interior fleece and bunch up. The cuffs need to be adjustable, I recommend Velcro, and the jacket needs an interior pocket and the ability to zip into a shell as a liner. The jacket is good quality and the put zips are hard to find in fleece jackets and are a must if your body temp runs a little high like me. I love the fact that it has the cloth shoulder covers to help against rain, but wind does cut through this jacket like you're not wearing it.

Would not recommend

This looked like a great jacket online and someone bought for me as a gift...I asked for the Denali. I am sad to have to use this jacket until I can afford another one...wind cuts right through it...fuzzes all over my clothes, pants, bookbag. I get hairs all over the back of it from classrooms. The black part of this jacket always has gray fuzz all over it and I hate how that looks. I have 3 NF jackets and all are great, with the exception of this one. I will say it is extremely comfortable and somewhat warm, but I am embarrassed by all the lint on me, my stuff, and the black part of the jacket...just doesn't look nice!

Great quality and awesome customer service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is the only jacket I'll wear. I've had mine for a few years and it holds up very well. I had recently visited family outside the country and left mine behind by accident . SO....without hesitation, I ordered another one. Unfortunately, they didn't have my color (blk/blk) in the correct size, so I went with the gray/black. The jacket arrived promptly at my door days later. On the day of arrival, I checked the website and they had my jacket in stock. So...again without hesitation, I ordered the style jacket I wanted. North Face took my return without hesitation and ensured I received my refund. Great job!!

It should be 1/3 the price. I was looking for a light jacket and have been pleased with past NF products. After some research I thought the Denali was for me. As soon as I put the jacket in my hands I was disappointed. It was too light and has an odd mix of fabric on the outside (which stood out more when I saw it in person). My wife was trying to understand why some of the coat was fuzzy and some was not. The zippers seemed cheap and I doubted it would hold up through daily use. It is an upgraded fleece. If someone gave it to me as a gift I would be happy to wear it on occasion. I have returned the one I ordered.
