Just purchased using the outlet discount. I’m camping in the rain and this is an excellent shell, staying warm and dry, lots of features are nice. The sizing seems to run small, typically an XL gives me room to layer but this XL fits slightly snug. This jacket is working great.
Fits well . Well made , warm & comfortable. Gore-Tex is lightweight & effective in cold weather.
Just the right amount of warmth with the targeted insulation. The gore Tex and venting keep things perfectly dry. Those unfamiliar, like much of the gore Tex stuff out there, it does make some noise but nothing more noticeable than others. Perfect for around town, and the two times we’ve actually gotten out in the boonies with it. Seems like it will be resilient to normal trail abuse too.
I prefer the other design that Im currently using. Ive been using it for 2 years now. Its the one that looks like this buy has the size zippers for an open look that doubles as a vent. I just wish it had a zipper on the bottom middle so 2 zippers on the jacket for the middle. Just to make it more comfortable for sitting down while zipped up.
This jacket arrived just before a very rainy trip to NFLD, it fit very well and kept me try if I was wandering George Street or exploring Cape Spears. The quality and functionality were top notch as has always been my been my experience with OR.
This is an awesome jacket. Love the light weight and breathable gortex.
Love the jacket, but it’s a bit noisy when moving.
