My new favorite beach runner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a ghost 16 GTX convert! I run for fun and training for small 5K’s. My wife has always loved running in Brooks shoes but I am new to Brooks! This shoe feels wider in the toe box than a Nike zoom pegasus. It has less cushion than a hoku style shoe, but I honestly love the cushion in this shoe. I notice the comfortable feel the most while running uphill or going up stairs. Even if you aren’t a major runner, the style and look of this shoe is perfect! You will want to wear this shoe to work, around town, out to dinner! I feel like this show also supports my ankles well. It has the support in all the right places.

Light and remarkably comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ghost 16 gtx is one of the best pair of running shoes I've ever owned. Super comfortable and nicely snug. They are extremely light and help me go the distance when running without having my feet feel ultra tired. I love that they are nitrogen filled and help with heel support and overall impact especially on rougher terrain. The design looks super stylish with black and gray and looks like very solid shoes. I got multiple compliments from friends and neighbors. The fabric is soft to the touch. The shoe laces are good length and tie/hold easily. Overall an excellent pair of shoes all around, fits true to size as I'm a size 9 and don't wear our quickly. Should last a few running seasons.

Dry Feet!

I had a pair of these before this purchase and is the reason I purchased another pair. I love the Ghost 16 GTX because they keep my feet dry at work. My shoes can be wet a good portion of my work day so I don't want wet feet as well. Brooks has finally made the Ghost GTX more comfortable and a little wider, if there was a wide version then I could order women's shoes instead of men's. I walk from 4 to 8 miles or more a day at work and I feel that these broke down quicker then the Ghost 15 GTX. I felt that the front part of my foot didn't have the support after 3 months. I like having dry and comfortable feet so I will continue to purchase them.

Excellent training sneaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been loving these sneakers for my go to training sneaker. The fit and feel are excellent and maintain the level of quality I’ve come to find with Brooks products. They fit true to size and are extremely comfortable. The mesh fabric is breathable yet I feel supported in the toe area. The cushioning soles are the best way to hit a workout without feeling every bit of pressure. I also love the classic all black colorway it compliments any workout gear I’m rocking. I have been reaching for these consistently and am very happy with the performance.

Very nice looking shoe

I needed new work shoes, and I've known about Brooks since middle school. So when I started looking for new shoes I figured I'd need trail running for my line of work (Fedex Delivery Driver) I walk about 3 miles everyday at work, combined with climbing in and out of the back of my work van, and in all elements. These shoes have been amazing to me, I never owned a pair until this pair. They have got to be one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, especially to work in. I highly recommend these as they are also, WATERPROOF!

Awesome Brooks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to lace up these Ghost 16 GTX’s and go for a nice run. I’ve had multiple pairs of Brooks in the past and put a lot of miles on them, so I couldn’t wait to test these out. The first thing I noticed is how light they are. They feel like I barely have anything on my feet. I’ve gone on about 10 runs since I got these, and each time out feels better and better. They’re also super good looking, so I love wearing them while I’m out and about running errands as well. I have the all black pair, and one thing that sticks out is how thick the sole is, which also provides tons of cushioning. It also has an Gore-Tex upper membrane that will allow me to go out while it’s wet, and still have dry feet. Overall, this is a fantastic shoe that is perfect to wear on a long run as well as a casual day out.

Don’t sleep on these

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This could be Brooks best road shoe. They feel great and look sharp. I’m not sure if they are called ghost because of the weight, but when I’m wearing these shoes I feel like I’m floating. They are light and flexible. I also love the monochromatic palate. I feel like they run a half size small. I took out the insole and use zero cushion socks which makes the fit much better. Overall these are wonderful shoes that seem to handle all the steps I throw at it. I am very happy I have them.

Comfy and Dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ghost 16 GTX is true to size and is a good fit. I like the all black for both the overall aesthetics and because it hides the wear. I’ve logged over 20 miles so far, both road and trail running, and I am pleased with their performance. The overall cushion is satisfactory. I prefer more cushioning on the ball of the foot, especially on trails, but it does the job. The GTX lining is fantastic. It kept my feet completely dry, and it kept the dirt from the trail out of the shoe. I assumed that the lining would create additional sweat especially with the summer heat. I was pleasantly surprised that was not the case. The one thing I would change is the tongue. It sits very high, and with no show or low ankle socks, the lining kind of sticks to your skin. Overall, I consider the Ghost 16 GTX a great multipurpose running shoe.

I have the Ghost 14 and I LOVE them! So, I purchased the Ghost 16 GTX on accident (I was looking to purchase the Ghost 16). I bought another pair because I am a pup training and exerciser. So, I wanted another pair just in case I worked in the rain. Sadly, this pair is not the pair for me! My feet and knees hurt after I use them; which, I find it really interesting because the Ghost 14 are soooooo comfortable! On the upside, these shoes are stylish! It’s tough to write this review. I love Brooks & the Ghost 14, but I had to write it because my feet and knees do hurt after I wear them— and others need to know.

Best sneakers I’ve ever worn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do not sleep on these! Another top notch sneakers from Brooks. They are stylish, breathable and in salty comfortable whether using them at the gym for strength/floor workouts or for walks and runs. And let’s not forget about casual wear! Truly the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn and fit every aspect of my on-the-go lifestyle. Not sure how I lived without these but I am a lifer. TTS across the board as well.
