Chose this shoe to walk 352 km Portuguese Camino

I brought this shoe three months ago after trying other shoes in the Brooks brand (as well as other brands), while training to walk the Portuguese Camino. Although I have a slender foot, I have very high arches which pushes the ball of my foot to splay wide, so I selected the wide fitting in one size larger than normal (As recommended for long-distance walking). The result was that this shoe reduced my usual foot pain when walking longer distances and was exceptionally stable on rocky and uneven ground. While on the Camino Walking up to 30 k’s per day with a full pack, I was one of the few people that never got blisters! My woollen Creeper toe socks were also part of the success in this adventure. Now I’m hoping for more colour options to be created in the Ghost Max 2 (W)!

I am conflicted about my review. I am only giving 3 stars for now, but I might revisit this as I am still giving these a shot. I have had three pairs of the Ghost Max and absolutely loved all 3. I still have one pair in my running rotation. I bought these to rotate with the original Ghost Max and I have noticed that when wearing the Max 2, the inside of the arch on my right foot hurts a little. It eventually stops, but that is something I only experience at the start of my run in these particular shoes. I ran a half marathon in my other Ghost Max on Saturday and they were perfect. So, I’m giving the Max 2’s another try this morning on my run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ghost Max 2 might be the most comfortable pair of running shoes I’ve ever put on my feet. I am a true size 7 foot, so I had to size up to a 7.5 in these shoes. They feel so lightweight on your feet and the toe box is super spacious. The extra cushion makes it such a great road running shoe. The fabric is super breathable and my feet stay cool even in the heat and humidity where I run. I normally run 3 miles a couple times a week and these shoes didn’t even need a break in period. They feel great on a run or a walk and I never get hot spots or places that rub my feet. They are truly like running on a cloud! Get these shoes… you will not regret it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super light weight, I thought they would be heavier because of all the cushion but they are like walking on clouds. I feel like I have slightly wide feet and I felt like these were perfect and the size was definitely true to size. I love how these were super trendy looking too. They weren’t too bulky, and they came up to a perfect spot below the ankle. The material wears definitely breathable yet they kept from getting super dirty inside and out when I run on dirt trails. These sneakers have definitely became some of my favorite and are now in my weekly rotation. I often even find myself wearing them when I’m not working out and using them for casual use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ghost Max 2 sneakers are very comfortable and give a lot of arch support especially for extended periods of time. I work 12.5 hour shifts - three nights a week - and I have worn these sneakers every shift since getting them a few weeks ago. My feet never ache by the morning and I walk about 7,000 steps in one shift. Aesthetically, I don’t care for the platform. While I realize it’s designed for extra cushion, it looks a bit aged. The fabric, however, is great - very breathable, easy to wipe clean, and looks sleek. Overall, I would recommend these shoes for anyone who is looking for comfortable and dependable footwear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I wasn’t sure what I thought about the thickness of the soles but as I wore them more and more I started to love them. They’re really comfy, bouncy and by the end of wearing them I have no knee pain from running or being on my feet all day. I like the design, they’re not boring but also not super loud with the colors. I can wear these with almost anything I have. The fabric seems like it’ll hold up well and is durable. I have been able to wipe off mud/dirt easily so far. Overall, I like how bouncy they feel. They’re true to size, I just feel like I had to wear them a few times to wear them in width wise.

I have tried about a million shoes looking for one that took away my leg/knee pain. I work on my feet all day in the medical field. I tried other popular brands like Hoka and they just unfortunately didn’t work for me. These shoes instantly felt like a match made in heaven. After one day of wearing them at work I could feel the difference. It has taken away my knee and feet pain as well as improved my back pain. I also do workout/walk and it’s amazing for that as well. 100 recommend! I even bought a pair for my mom who works on her feet all day and she loved them too! She said it helped with her plantar fasciitis!

I’m a nurse and I purchased these Ghost Max 2 shoes through the uniform store at my work and the moment I stepped my foot into this shoe I knew I just had to have them! I’ve worn them for a full 40 hour work week before writing my review and these shoes are amazing! They are very comfortable and I love the rocker shape & I almost can’t believe how much cushion they actually have! These are my first pair of Brooks, I own several pairs of on clouds & new balances and these by far are my favorite! 🤗 The uniform shop only had one color option & I love mine for fall/winter but I’ve already looked into purchasing my 2nd pair in a different color! I’m typically a size 8.5 - 9 and I purchased size 9.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ghost Max 2 are awesome walking shoes. I am a sometimes jogger, but mostly a walker. I walk 3-4 times a week for about 40 minutes each time. The Ghost Max 2 fit like a glove and are very comfortable. They didn’t need a big break in period and I didn’t get a hot spot or any weird rubbing. The design was okay, kind of clunky, but I felt supported while walking/jogging. The fabric was breathable and seemed to be able to wipe clean. I didn’t love the overall look of the shoe, I sort of felt like I had clown shoes. However, the support and cushion the shoe provides will outweigh the “cuteness” factor. Overall I would recommend these to any walker/jogger looking for a comfortable, supportive shoe.

Hi I have been recommended your shoes for support of my arches by my podiatrist but the fabric on this model I am finding is stretching too much around my foot. I’ve had the adjust the laces constantly for supportive fit to walk/run. I have had them for 2 weeks. Is there another model with the same support that has more stable fabric?
