Still feel solid after 850 trail miles

Bought a pair of these in 2023 after getting tired of waiting for Vasque to recover from the pandemic. They're fantastic boots. I have over 850 trail miles on them at this point, and they're holding up really well. The're still very waterproof. The tread is getting a little thin in some areas, but they're still solid for use on dayhikes. I plan to replace them with the exact same boot. They're not cheap, but I trust these boots on terrain where cheap boots don't cut it. The one thing they're lacking is supportive insoles, but that was an easy change and well worth it.

Great budget option

Great boots, hundreds of miles so far in the mountains of Montana, with lots of off trail travel. Still lots of life left. Make sure to keep the leather well taken care of. Sole durability seems great. I was skeptical about the width. They fit great though with the wide size. I would look into tibets if your feet are super wide

Great boots

I have two of these boots, they are the best I have ever used for hiking/backpacking on rocky and steep ground. If between sizes, I recommend sizing up, as the sizing seems a little too small. I also tried the cheaper hiking model, the Renegade, but I much prefer the Camino, as the boot is a little roomier and feels stiffer and more robust.

The only boot you’ll ever need or want

I work 3-6 days a week walking up and down jagged rocky terrain digging squatting and kicking rocks over. Danner, Solomon (which I like), and several other boots will not last me 3 months. I’ve even tried sacrificing comfort for durability with top of the line Danners so I wouldn’t need to buy new boots so often. These Lowa boots are far better than all the others. They are both durable and comfortable. The boot outlasts the serviceable life of the vibram sole, which is a fair measurement of boot durability.

Best boots I have ever owned

After a successful AT thru hike I learned what worked for me. YMMV. If you need the stability and support of real hiking boots, look no further. These are without a doubt the best hiking boots I have ever owned. Yes they are very pricey BUT you get what you pay for. Highly recommend you go and try them on and see for yourself. I'd give them 7 stars if I could.

High hopes for the cost

I had finally wore out my daily boots, thread was almost non existent and 7 months of snow and ice living in the mountains it seemed good insurance to get a more heavy duty boot to keep from doing too many faceplates. Other boots like Keens are always the most comfortable but come apart living up in Colorado with rough ground.

Comfortable and stylish

Comfortable and stylish. Time will tell if they hold up. I used to wear ASOLO, but they have gone down in quality. I am hoping this will be my go-to boot moving forward.
