the quality is good, very beautiful, powerful, reliable, but one size too big, keep in mind before you buy, read the reviews We wear size 8, bought eight, but need to pick up seven, but the beauty and quality are top notch Thank you, I will give it as a gift and buy myself my size
I am a big fan of the goretex Terrex lowcut hiking shoes from years ago, and looked specifically for the updated ones to replace the old pair which lasted for years. These ones i have worn for less than ten times and already the sides have worn off -- the fabric parts have ripped and rubbed to their core. It's very disappointing. They don't make them like they used to. They are also much chunkier than the old Terrex hiking shoes which were perfect like trainers but with tough soles and thin urban-style laces.
I love these shoes! They feel great, very comfortable, and feel great walking in them. I am very happy with my purchase. I am picky too. They are very grippy, look great and feel great! The heel has a hard plastic like surface which will definitely ward off the rain, while walking or hiking. I only wore them today so far, but right from the beginning, they felt great! I usually wear a 8 1/2, but after, reading the reviews, i ordered an 8, and it was perfect size. They do run large, so try a half lower size.
The Terrex Free Hiker shoes are super comfortable, but as others have noted, they run large. I typically take a size 8 in street shoes and size up to 8.5 in hiking shoes and boots so that I have more room in the toebox. I ordered the Terrex in a size 8. They are much larger than my size 8 sneakers and light hiking boots (see photo). I could've easily gone down to a 7.5. Still, I'm keeping them as it's hard to find hikers that aren't too narrow. I am happy to have hikers that don't crush my toes.
Beware! sizing is way off. I ordered a womens 10 (my normal size) and the shoes I recieved are labeled as a 10 but much larger when compared to my other size 10 shoes. My toes have a couple inches of room. I thought I may have read the sizing chart wrong...nope. According to the addidas sizing chart womens size 10 shoes should be 10.4" heel to toe. I measured the ones I recieved and they are 12.4". According to their own size chart, the shoes I recieved are a womens size15 if I go by the measurements. Unsure why I got a size 15 shoe labeled as a size 10. Did not know womens shoes even went that large. I like the shoes so thought ok I will return these and order a size or 2 smaller but now they are sold out. Very disappointing! Especially since this was my first order. Photo shows size 10 shoe for reference.
Broke my pair in walking around the city and at work for a few days and then hiked in them and loved them! Gotta love Gore-Tex, was walking through streams like it was nothing! The grip left me feeling secure, even at spots that were a little rugged or slick. They even had me running for a bit, thought running downhill towards the end I noticed they were slightly big, so I’ll just wear thicker socks next time. Great deal!
The reviews are right about the size. I’d say half or even full size down from your normal. Unless you are planning to wear thick socks and conscious about your feet swell then order true size. Shoe quality is great, I will use them to run in the snow and those rainy days.
I bought this shoes right before my trip to Switzerland. The top fabric peels off in less than two months. Durability is not good. I didn’t even go on hardcore hikes. This is my first pair of terrex shoes..and it’s kind of disappointing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it to use immediately when traveling and hiking. Comfortable and didn't bother my feet.
I already have several colors of this same model and I always love them, the best shoes
