Perfect everyday running shoe ! I recommend this shoe to any one feeling
Thanks for the awesome 5-stars!
I've put 510 miles on these shoes, and they are still going strong. They've taken quite a beating without losing their structure or shape. I could continue running in them, but to avoid any potential injury, I'm getting another pair. Amazing!
I bought this version of the triumph because I fell in love with the triumph 17. Put almost 500 miles on them . The 18 version i still am running in but about to retire . The 19 is the same midsole as the 18. Both the 18 and 19 versions had the best midsole as far as overall with the perfect amount of cushion for everyday running and long runs. I was looking forward to the 22 being an improvement, but in my opinion after 60+ miles the cushioning is way more than previous versions and makes running in them entirely different. Not sure ill push the miles on these 22's because the feel in my legs and overall runs in them just are not really that great. I wish saucony would go back to a more 18/19 version in the midsole.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Can’t believe I didn’t try Saucony sooner. These are amazing runners. Especially for road running. Nice and light, and super soft/squishy soles.
Thanks for the great feedback Joel!
The Saucony Triumph 22 has been a great addition to my running gear. It's incredibly cushiony, providing excellent comfort and a noticeable forward propulsion that makes each stride feel effortless. The design is elegant, especially in the white and navy blue colorway, which has garnered me plenty of compliments. However, I did notice that my feet tend to warm up more than usual, particularly during the summer. This is a minor inconvenience, but it's something to consider if you plan to use them in hotter weather. Despite this, I still find the Triumph 22 to be superior to my Glycerin 21 GTS, which I occasionally use. Overall, a solid running shoe that's stylish and performs well!
We love hearing this! Thanks for sharing your experience!
i loved my last sauconys and was so excited when i purchased these.. i wore them around for a week with no problems. After a week i ran a half marathon and got terrible blisters on the insides of my heels. Two weeks later i ran a marathon with bandages on my feet and got 3 more blisters in my outer heels and by my big toe. They were a waste of money if i can’t even wear them for long runs
Great step in feel but that’s where the positives end. Overall the shoe is fine but not for the high price. Very soft if not too soft of a ride with little to no energy return. Much more stable than previous versions but now it’s not as versatile and seems best for slower easy runs. I have a low to normal volume foot and had a hard time with getting a good lockdown. Much better options for the same or less money.
I have been running in Saucony Triumphs since April of 2012. Over 12 years of running in ONLY this series of shoe and I've bought a new pair every 4 or 5 months due to the number of miles I put on them. I've won several 5ks, 10ks, and even a half-marathon in this shoe. They have RUINED this shoe with the 22 model. The support is wrong, wrong, wrong and I would know. If you have loved this shoe as much as I have - I hope you read this review before buying. I haven't read a review in over a decade because this shoe has been amazing for so long... I'm sad. Hopefully Saucony reads this review, takes it serious and fixes this terrible cushioning / support.
Yes these shoes aren’t speed shoes and yes they’re pretty wide, but that’s great for those of us with wider feet who need a recovery run shoe. I like the ankle support of the shoe as well. I can’t give it 5 stars yet because I’ve only had them for a couple weeks, and because I’ve been using them with a different insole, but I like the shoes and I think the “clunkiness” is a feature of the shoe rather than a flaw. If you’re on a budget and only want one pair of all-rounder shoes, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re someone who swaps between different pairs for different purposes (speed, slow recovery, etc), then this is a solid choice for slow recovery.
I just got these. We live in the city. I do a lot of walking. I have never been a runner. I’m not sure why it’s assumed if someone buys running sneakers that it automatically makes them a runner. Walking has the same benefits and doesn’t wear out your feet, knees and hips as bad. We walk on concrete. These are very cushiony. The most cushiony Saucony’s and other brands I’ve ever had. I like the wide toe box too. I have narrow feet yet I need a wide toe box. And the back still fits appropriately. A lot of other brands are all disproportionate re that issue. I got all white as well. They look good too.
