As first pair of Hokas, I’m sold. After recent diagnosis of over pronation, out go most of the culprits (Vans). Inserts and Hokas were on Dr’s list. While in CO, tried these and out of the box, wore them on a sweltering day at an animal sanctuary and other parks during trip. Never an issue. I’m late 40’s, no longer semi-fit female, (pandemic, torn meniscus, life stages), but still wanted to wear cool shoes. Honestly, I’d go back to try other styles, but after getting previous foot analysis scan at a New Balance store that suggested instead of my usual 8.5, to do size 9, wide, these in regular 9 were perfect. I’d strongly suggest try on in person first. Way too many variables in todays shoes.

I love these Hokas. As a nurse, I am on my feet for 12+ hours at a time and these prevent my feet and legs from growing sore or uncomfortable. They easily slide on and off so that I don't have to bend over as well as don't have to touch my shoes that have been on the hospital floor. I recommend for those that need ease on and off, those with disabilities, or caregivers that help others put shoes on!
