unfortunate luck and replacement policy
I purchased 3 pairs of these for each of my boys for Christmas. Unfortunately, the son who really needed them and wears them as they should be worn.......outside and working hard.....has had bad luck with them. The sole is coming away from the leather and they are leaking. I have numerous pictures ( he lives in the country with inconvenient access to any return) and this company wont accept photos. Although I get that some people are sadly dishonest with pictures, getting them back to the company for "inspection" wont happen. This kid is a college student and works full time. I have cancelled an order I had in for my pair as result.

Such a disappointment...
Had high hopes, what a letdown... Saw these in a store and loved the brand and the look. Got a pair from Santa. First try and they are very narrow and stiff, my foot is not wide. Have softened a bit with wearing after sore ankles from rubbing. Non-existent arch support even though there is an insert, Oh well I guess I can spend more money and get a decent insert. Worst thing so far is the traction. Step onto wet tile or smooth concrete and you better be holding on to something. I havent worn them on my boat yet and now I feel they are too dangerous to try that. I guess I have my trusty Sperrys, They don't slip in the wet. For the price I had expected premium performance...

Recent Xtratuf Chelsea boots purchase.
I have been a long time Xtratuf customer and have owned many pairs of the Legacy 15” boots, replacing them after their long service lives. Lived in Sitka and have lived in those boots. I purchased a pair of Chelsea boots to try something different. The boots are good as expected, but not quite as comfortable as my 15” Legacy boots and built on a narrower last. They were to replace a pair of Blundstone boots and unfortunately didn’t live up to my expectations.
Not meant for work
The boots were great for about a week or two and then the sole started to peel away from the boot. After about two weeks of using them for work they were no longer waterproof. I used them for construction so they were used hard. I think they are designed for more casual use, not for work. I really liked these boot, wish they were more durable.

Nice fit, not durable
I got 2 months (maybe) of wear in these working part-time around our farm. The boot has pulled from the sole in multiple places, somehow they are still waterproof I think but already looking for another boot for the winter. Maybe I misunderstood "XtraTuff" but it seems to mean only against weather conditions, not actual work wear & tear.

No waterproof
Not waterproof! These have a nice fit and look, and the classic chevron sole so they still serve a purpose. They can handle an occasional puddle too. However, I tested these to the max on a SE Alaska rainy day (iykyk) and my feet were soaked through from just a torrential rainfall. I now only wear them for casual use.

Top Notch Chelsea Boot
I wore xtratuf boots when I worked in the salmon cannery industry. They are very comfortable and realiable! These Boots are no different. They have a nice soft lining, so they can easily be slipped on without socks for short walks. They are a nice choice for walking around urban environments on rainy days.
Chelsea. Boot Review
Boots look exactly as pictured. While we ordered the same size as other xtratuf boots currently owned, these were beautiful but unfortunately too narrow. A wide fit would probably be perfect but as they were a Christmas gift and were ordered early, it was past the time to return once they were gifted.
