Just a quick update with photos
Just wanted to add a few more details and a couple photos of the item just by itself when not worn as a base layer. Just wanted to note I've worn this on two back to back days of trail running in low 40's temps, damp Fall weather here in Pennsylvania, and worked stellar! Moving and short stops, totally fine...on those longer stops to refuel, did get a little chilly but that's to be expected. I sweat pretty heavy and I always felt like this breathed extremely well and never felt clammy.
Great by itself in mild temps or as a baselayer!
Received this a few weeks back (October 2024) and have worn it 3 times and love it! I've worn it twice on it's own by itself, and once as a base layer under my Marmot DriClime when a little extra warmth was was needed. Worked great in all instances. It's a good combination of breathable but warm enough, even on it's own, for Fall weather here in Pennsylvania. I will most likely wear it as a base layer through Winter. I am 5'9" and 185, which is heavy for me at present. The large fits snug in a good way, but it is classic Euro styling, so it is slimmer than a large would be in say an REI, North Face, or other domestic brand. I picked the orange as I like to be seen, especially during hunting seasons here. The front pocket is nice for my car key, a couple GU's or similar. I suppose I could fit my iPhone 15 in there, but doubt I ever would. My only "rub" (pun intended) is that, well I'll just say it, when worn alone in "nipply"/cold weather, if you're nipples are standing at attention, friends will know it...there's not alot of material mid chest to hid that. Really not a big deal, just felt like for guys like me who can be self conscious, you might want to know ;-) Overall, really really like this piece and glad it's part of my kit now!
