Sad: redesigned and ruined
A perfect glove, redesigned and ruined. I've been wearing the Pearl Izumi gel gloves in a variety of styles for over 12 years and considered them the best of best. Tight ergonomic fit, durable, nice fabrics, well sewn. I bought these last week to repair my beloved last pair that were ready to retire and am so sad to discover that they redesigned them for the worse. The thumb fabric is oddly shaped and floppy, no good for handling your phone, device, anything, really. The seams have a few spots that poke into your skin, I was sure there was a piece of packaging plastic stuck in there, but it's just poor manufacturing. Sad.
Warm enough but not very touchscreen sensitive,
Gloves are warm for cool weather riding but the finger is NOT touch screen sensitive. Have to remove glove anytime I need to use touchscreen on my Garmin or iPhone. The clasp part of the glove keeps popping back onto the velcro making it a pain to remove or put it back on,.
