Nice light that DOES work with the Chapter helmet!
I just recently picked this light up and can't guarantee its durability, but because I saw two dissenting reviews I wanted to add my experience testing this light with the Thousand Chapter helmet. This light DOES work with the helmet - it has an identical shape and footprint to the stock light from the Chapter helmet and is magnetic. It sticks as it should to the helmet, and just as firmly as the original light does. What DOES NOT work is that the light doesn't automatically turn on as soon as you stick it to the helmet unlike the original light from the Chapter helmet. Instead, you do have to hold the power button to make it turn on which I appreciate personally, I didn't actually like that feature of the original light. As for build quality and other features, it feels nice and arguably looks nicer than the stock light. The light options are steady on (5hr run time per the manual) > Bright Flashing (5hr) > dimmer 'pulse' effect (12hr), so you do have three options here, better claimed battery life by far, and convenience of a USB C charge connector. The 'pulse' lighting option is also kind of a cool looking pattern that may help make you more conspicuous to road users at night. All-in-all I've only had this light for a bit, but I'm already appreciating it.
Best thousand light
Finally a good light from Thousand. Their previous model that's included with their Chapter helmet is much worse than this with a battery life of an hour or less. This new one has 5 hour battery life and USB C charge port and it's the same size as the previous model so it's a perfect replacement for it. This light works with Chapter and Heritage 2.0 helmets
Good light but only for Heritage helmet.
Excellent light but only works for Heritage helmet as the description states. It will not work on the Chapter helmet. I read some reviews that says it works for the Chapter but that is not accurate. I know because I tried.
