Toasty toes
If you have cold feet, these are for you! Great option for camping in a tent, RV, or cabin when you need an extra insulation layer on your feet! The slippers are very soft and fit like socks. They also pack down easily by folding or sliding into crammed pack. The material on the bottom is durable yet soft. The slippers work for limited wandering outside such as sitting on porch, pier, or by a campfire! I don’t think they would hold up for much of a stroll, nor would you want to. I wear size 10 in women’s and they fit well with plenty of room by toes; however, when you walk the slippers slide to the front and cram your toes. They are great if you are lounging or sleeping. Even though in my pics the slippers got wet from dew on grass they didn’t get my feet wet. Overall I think these are great slipper options for sleeping or lounging on camping, RV, or cabin adventures!
Cozy home for tired dogs
The Exped Camp Slippers were great to slip my tired feet into at the end of the day! The slippers were roomy for my wide size 10 feet. They were toasty warm and comfortable. A great addition to the camp, especially with those late night exits from the tent! A word of warning, these slippers don't have a thick sole so you will feel all the rocks or bumps on the ground.
These are Wonderful
These are great. They are very comfortable. They are lightweight (so they are easy to pack and carry). They are warmer than i expected given how thin they are. I love how well their soles grip the ground.
Camping has never been so cozy!
Perfect warmth on cool fall evenings. Can’t believe I never treated my feet to camp slippers before now. These slippers are true to size and extremely light weight. I enjoyed the insulated pillow-like on top and my feet enjoyed seamless comfort inside. Very grippy and no slip soles made the after dark trips from the campfire to the tent stress free. The loop on the heel was a nice addition and I love knowing the synthetic insulation was made from 100% recycled materials. The only thing to add would be more support and padding in the foot bed, but my feet are prone to aches and pains. Thank goodness they're quick drying too. Got them a little damp walking through the morning dew, so just hung in them in a tree to air out and then put them right back on.
Great Lightweight Slippers
Really comfortable slippers that are surprisingly warm! They are comfy to wear with or without socks. These are super lightweight, and don't take up much room in my backpack or suitcase. Soles are quite nice and grip well on various surfaces. They dry quickly.
Perfect for the Next Hut Trip
Very warm and lightweight and can easily be compressed to fit into a pack. Soles are grippy without being stiff or sticky. Sizing is true so if you wear an 8, definitely order the small. To keep the slippers lightweight and packable, however, the cushioning is very minimal so they have an almost barefoot feel.
The perfect packable slipper!
I had a pair of these years ago and loved them except for one detail they have now fixed. Padding! They have padding in them now and I can walk around without feeling barefoot. They are warm, breathable, comfortable and pack down to almost nothing. Win!
Cozy little camp shoes
I took these little slippers up to Lake Superior, and they were wonderful for wandering around our cabin, heading down to the dock for morning coffee, sitting around the campfire, and lounging on the couch. The soles on these are tough and grippy enough for outdoor use, and they clean up really well on the way indoors thanks to the pebble tread. (Very important when I was going from beach sand to damp grass yard to hardwood floors!) They were warm enough to keep my feet snug outside at night, but breathable so my feet never got sweaty when the sun came out but I wanted to stay cozy. They pack down very small, which means I'll be able to fit them in my bag any time I want cozy feet (which is most of the time). These slippers use small/medium/large sizing, and my feet are on the small end of the small size so they had a little more room than I'm used to. At first I was concerned that I'd slide around or slip out, but the elastic cuff kept them in place and I only really noticed their roominess when I was walking up stairs. Even then it wasn't a huge deal; I never felt unsafe, just aware of the extra bit of space in the slipper. I wish I had a better photo of them in action, but this was a "leave your phone in your room" kind of trip, so this cozy couch moment will have to suffice!
Runs large
I might change my review after I use them more. My initial impression is that these run large. I'm a lady who wears size 7.5 shoes so I ordered the smalls. They stay on my feet but the elastic in the back isn't taut at all. My husband wears an 8.5 mens which puts him in the medium range, but he can put my smalls on and be comfortable. Time will tell if they stay on my feet. I'm going backpacking and need warm but UL camp shoes.
Toasty for light duty
These are super airy, it doesn't feel like you have anything at all on your feet. The bottom has a touch of grip to it, but not an excessive amount. It felt good on a hardwood floor and on concrete but I think it won't do well in slush or snow. We had weather down into the low 40's and these were toasty enough.
