No Hood! Yay! But Hidden Fleece is Bungeing Me Up.

I hate hoods, and my old jacket is toast. Selection of jackets with removable hoods is very limited. So I was happy to find this one. Good and warm for Minnesota. BUT how strange that it has normal "slippery" lining in sleeves and below the chest, but is lined with fleece around the chest and shoulders. So it sticks to my sweaters, corduroy shirts--normal winter clothing. Unless I'm really careful about putting it on, I get my sleeves all bunged up and my chest constricted by the fleece grabbing at your clothing. Who designed this? It's crazy. I have had Boulder Gear jackets before, so I didn't expect this insanity.

Warm and stylish

Great! I like the mid-thigh length, lined hood, easy zipper/velcro. Super warm as described without being bulky. It's the more minimal look I wanted, instead of a puffer. I'm 5'6/145 lbs, probably a Medium in this coat. But I bought the Large for more room and layering. It's a little big, but not weirdly so.

Very impressed with my first Boulder Gear coat

I love this coat! Unexpectedly good quality for the price and extremely warm yet still an attractive fit for winter date nights. I broke in this coat on a windy hike (high 30f) around Red Rocks and Morrison slide and I was toasty. Hopefully it lasts long term.
