Size down!!
The reef website says to size up, but that was not the case with these particular sandals. I am a 8.5 or 9 in shoes and I ordered the size 9. The 9 was too big, about 1/2" of cork above all my toes. You're not wearing socks and your foot is not being crushed in a shoe, so definitely size down! If you always size down for Chacos, then you'll want to size down for these too. (Also, the straps were so long that they'll drag on the ground if you get a larger size.) These are best for someone with a larger wider foot. They felt comfortable and like I could walk all day in them, just wrong sizing recommendations and straps that are too long.
