I love Smartwool socks. I've tried other brands with mixed results, but Smartwool always comes through for me. You can feel the quality on your feet. Smartwool socks are a little more pricey than other brands, but I think they're worth it in the long run.

Smartwool is a reliable brand and their ankle socks are built to last. I still own pairs from 20012 that have kept their shape and haven't become threadbare like other brands (including REI's own brand from the same time). When they go on sale I usually pick up a few pairs, and and if they are on the Outlet it is only because of being an older style or color. I wear these most often with hiking or ankle height casual or work boots and they never slip down under the heel.

I was looking for a lightly cushioned, ankle height sock for my low top hiking shoes. I am a fan of wool in my socks, so Smartwool was an obvious choice. I wear a women’s size 9 1/2 to 10 and I bought these in a medium. They fit me perfectly and are the perfect height. I took them out for a 4 mile hike on mixed terrain and they were very comfortable and stayed in place. I had no heel slippage or bunching. I liked them so much, I bought another two pair.

Wrong Sock Sizing on the site

Despite searching for "men's socks", I was directed to 3 separate styles only to unknowingly order "large" unisex sizing that you shipped and don't fit. To be clear, the site didn't properly identify the special sizing. Either exchange the socks for "extra large unisex' or please issue return authorization and do not charge me the handling fee. You should have clearly labeled the sizing correctly and spared you and me both wasted time and money. Thank you

I love Smartwool hiking socks and wanted to get another pair. I bought these online and didn't know what to expect with "light cushion" but wow, the cushion is very noticeable compared to regular socks I wear. Would highly recommend for your next hike or even a heavy day of walking around town.

I usually buy darn tough socks, but the designs and colors are extreme these days. So I’m going for the next best thing smartwool. I hope they last as long as the darn tough socks I have. But they are very comfortable and I like them very much.
