Sizing Notes

For boots: Add one half size to your street shoe size. You should be able to slip one finger behind your heel when you are standing up with the boot unlaced and your toes touching the front. If the boot is too short, your toes will get smashed walking downhill. Too long and your heel will slide up and down and give you blisters.

Super great but painfully narrow

Overall the boot is perfect - I have worn it on several tough backpacks with a fully loaded pack and can hike much further and in much greater comfort than when wearing trail runners. It's just that slightly narrow toe box that makes the bone next to my little toe bright red and sore! I don't have wide feet but this toe box is really narrow. It's too bad - these are otherwise perfect -- but they don't come in wide.

Great for Iceland

Purchased these for a week in Iceland. Didn't even need to break them in. Comfortable right from the start. We hiked over rocky terrain, climbed glaciers, walked in deep snow. My feet never felt cold, even in subzero temps and 60 mph winds. Cannot recommend these boots enough!

Best hiking boots for me

Since I am coming from leather Merrell's from the past, I was very hesitant on the synthetic materials on these; however, these were amazing in terms of support and comfort. They are super lightweight, water resistant and has tons of grip for rocky/wet terrain, which is perfect for California terrain. My friend and I just hiked the west side of Trans Catalina Trail, which is 25+ miles and her feet were hurting from wearing Merrell Moab 3 Mid Waterproof ones. We wear the same size, so I offered to switch with her and my feet were really hurting going downhill from Black Jack to Avalon (11miles) with the Moab's. Moab's are a lot heavier so the top part of my feet were sore and the toe box is smaller, so my toes were getting bruised. I had to switch back for the last 4 miles. The La Sportiva's were super grippy on the sand and rocks while going downhill, but Moab's were not. I highly recommend to try them out if you do fit them. They do run small. I am usually a 35EU but ended up keeping the 37EU. They also clean super easily. I just sprayed it with my hose and all the dirt and mud came right off.

Feather weight and awesome fit.

I am always on the lookout for lightweight, waterproof boots that will accommodate my narrow feet. These are the best ever. I also love the soft fabric at the back of the top of the boot. No rubbing, and so easy to slip on. I am a fan.

Excellent waterproof hiker

Excellent lightweight & flexible yet waterproof mid-height hiker. Easy to slip on & off (unlike other boots). Fit runs a bit narrow - I sized up 1/2-1 full size and still am concerned about my pinkie toes on longer hikes. Should be an excellent snow boot also, with warm socks!

Great hiking boot

Bought these for a trip to Yosemite. Hiked through waterfalls and ankle deep water. My feet stayed dry. Performed well on rocks and I didn’t have any problems slipping. Only complaint - because the boot was so narrow, I had to wrap areas of my feet to prevent blisters.

My favorite hikers.

These are my favorite lightweight hiking boots. They’re waterproof with great traction and excellent comfort. And the color is so fun. I’ve worn this brand for a while, but these are my favorites. Size up though as they do run smaller.
