"Bungee drawcord" doesn't work
The features list includes "Wide waistband with bungee drawcord allows for quick fine-tuning of fit". The slider on the drawcord doesn't hold its position. so you can't actually adjust the waist. And the cord will not hold a knot if you try to hold the position by tying one. There is very little elastic in the waistband, so you are dependent on the cord for holding the shorts up. Otherwise, the design consists of an inner padded under short and an outer short, both of which are really nice. Unfortunately, I can't keep them up any better than my 20+ year old Trek biking shorts that have lost their elastic.
