Comfortable, light weight, plenty of grip, feels like I’m walking on clouds 👍👍👍
Returned. I did a 7 mile hike and then a 3 mile hike to make sure they were not for me; on trails with roots, rocks. I got blisters on both inner heels, indicating they were too loose, I think. I tried to tighten them up to my heel, but I couldn't get them right. In addition, I could feel every rock and root and the nubs on the treads - even with all that cushion. Maybe a better insole would have helped, but there seemed to be nothing at all in between my foot and the foam. Ultimately, I didn't think these were hiking boots. More like glorified walking shoes.
I disagree with a lot of the other reviews - I like these better than the speed goats and find them more comfortable for my wider feet. Super comfortable to hike it. Done a few big days in them 10+ miles and no problems so far. They’re probably not the most durable but I’d rather have comfortable
Bought the shoe to ruck and hike. Very comfy and supportive. Also appealing was the waterproofing membrane. The shoes stayed waterproof (puddles, shallow streams) for a few weeks, then began to leak. Wet feet. Returned and exchanged for a new pair. Fingers crossed.
I was looking for a hiking boot with ankle support that is lightweight than your traditional boot. I've got about 20 miles in these boots and they seem to fit the bill. I'll want to get out on some longer hikes to see what the break-in process looks like, but right now they're looking like a good option for those looking to go far quickly without sacrificing support.
I have had theses shoes for 5 months or so. Love them. Had to adjust the laces a little because the did hurt the top of my foot. Once that was done they were golden. Mostly wore on short trails 6 miles. Recently took backpacking for 21 miles. They were Great! All around shoe. Recommend.
Snug fit, using heel loop will slide foot right in, curvature of sole kind of launches you forward while the thick heel cushions impact. Haven't used in morning dew on trails so will see how dry feet remain.
Loved these, until after the 10th time of wearing them one of the lace holders came undone from the shoe making them unusable. The warranty is only good for a year, and I am just outside that...poor make.
These hiking shoes provide wonderful arch support for my feet. The shoes feel very stable and fire.
The Anacapa made me feet hurt pretty severely. I wore them three times, but had to return them
