This is a nice, substantial pair of leggings. It's my first pair of alpaca/natural fiber leggings, so I was not used to how prickly it was at first, but after wearing for a couple hours the prickliness went away. Thick enough to wear on its own (not see-through). About sizing - I'm 5'2" 110 lbs and got the S. These are a little long on me, but that's to be expected for my height. It's also slightly loose and I could have gotten away with a XS but will keep the S because I don't want a tight fit.
Warm and soft, opaque enough to wear as leggings. Faintly prickly the first day, but not on the second day. I was between sizes, so I sized up, which is why the waistband was slightly loose. We’ll see how they settle in after they are washed.
These are really comfortable and fit well. They are a little itchy so don't know exactly how they would feel after hours out on a hike. Great quality.
Oh so soft and well made. The 300g/m2 is just perfect thickness because I bought these to wear as pants while traveling and wanted to make sure they were not transparent (see-through). The only negative is I wish that there is a crotch gusset like all my yoga pants.
Fits great very warm and comfortable. I wear these under my snowboard pants. I have other wool base layers and I like these the best.
Purchased these as a base layer for Antarctica under ski pants, I never got cold. They are lightweight, warm, non-itchy, & wash well.
Pure Alpaca is the best. It's very warm and odor resistant.
