If you’re looking for an ultra lite-weight race vest that packs a punch, look no further! The Bronco hits all the marks for a vest with such a small foot print. Don’t underestimate its capabilities with less real-estate because every inch of this vest serves a purpose. The Bronco’s design from front to back provides all the storage you need to get the job done, whether your running a quick 10 miles or facing longer miles on race day. This has become my go-to vest and it fits like a glove without being constricting. Life is complicated enough and this vest simplifies mine on the trails!
My absolute favorite race and training vest! I love how snug it holds everything and doesn't bounce when filled and snugged down. I have used it for every distance, from shorter legs of the Cocodona 250 to the Black Canyon 100K. If you need more room on occasion, get the Big Bronco too!
This has been my primary vest for almost a year now, the MaxO2 form is customizable and keeps breathing easy, even when fully loaded for 40 miles in the mtns! the bottle placement helps me stay hydrated with it's easy access and being able to get to anything, anywhere, on the go. from outdoor adventures to ultras it gets the job done!
I’ve been running in the Bronco race vest for the past few months and I absolutely love it! It has a super small foot print on the body which help so that you son’t get as many hot spots and so that you don’t overheat on warm days. It has so many pockets that I can hold everything I need, despite being a small vest. My vest has probably 600 miles at this point and still looks new. I appreciate the zippered pocket for my car key. My last “racing” vest did not have a secure pocket and I was always scared of having my key fall out. I do wish the water bladder clasp was more secure because with bigger bladders like a 1.5L it does come unhooked but I normally use a 0.5L bladder so this isn’t an issue.
This is the best vest I have used for a few reasons. 1) can take two soft flasks up front that I can drink from without taking out or having to move my head a ton, 2) I never have to take it off to get things from the back pocket, 3) super light and fits the body well and 4) has enough cargo space for an extra flask or 2L bladder if going on a long solo run without aid. This is my go to adventure vest!
This is the best vest I've owned. I'm taller for a female, but very petite up top, so I have a hard time finding packs that fit properly. The Bronco by UltrAspire fits me like a glove. The Max 02 form allows the pack to cinch not only snugly, but also very quickly and easily. It is easy to adjust the pack to exactly the right fit for you, and is very comfortable to breathe while wearing. It has more than enough pockets of different types to hold all my things (hydration in either bottle or reservoir or both, fuel, sunglasses, gaiters, buff, chapstick, phone, salt, and trash). I love to pack a light rain jacket in the back pocket. I live in south Florida where it's hot, and this doesn't add a lot of bulk or weight. If you have ever talked to me about running, you've heard me rave about this vest. I wear it for just about every run, from short training runs to ultramarathons. Best best best!
I love this vest , you can load it up or run with just a few things in it. Either way it ride the same.
Super comfy & lightweight. Love the mesh pockets on the sides which I can actually reach unlike other brand bags!!
I have now used this vest in two 100 mile ultra and Cocodona 250. Plus on numerous training runs. I'm 6'5 230lbs. The large fits good. It holds water like no other. I have carried 5 liters total. 2 in bladder in back storage 2 550 ml in front pockets 2 more on side pockets with magnets that lay on sides and back. The balance is great. The material has no signs of wear. It light and so many different options to add nutrition snacks in front pockets or the sides. You can see through pockets to see what you are carrying and where. I just bought my 2nd one to rotate for quick stops at aid stations. Even with all the water and snacks, there is still room for light weight gear. No chaffing and actually as acted as support to eliminate nipple chaffing. If you own the Zygos and don't like how the water sits then this vest is the one. Or if looking for a light weight versatile vest.
Great vest! I live where it is very hot/humid and wanted a cooler race vest than my Solomon Adv Skin 12. I’m a 36 DD and wear a medium in this vest (the small was way too small). I will be buying the bigger version of this vest for my ultras. I do wish Ultraspire would come out with better color options, but I love all of their running gear that I own so far.
