This is the first time I have ordered wool base layers. I have always had a preconceived notion that wool is itchy, not true with this set. I have not worn it yet in a cold weather situation thus I only gave it a 4 star rating. My plan is to wear this under a dry suit for cold water snorkeling in Iceland. I was really warm walking around my house with them on which is sometimes like the arctic. :)

Comfy and cozy. The cold temps are just now arriving, so I haven't made a serious performance test yet, but I like the fit and the fabric.
