Not work gloves.
Good casual heated gloves for light winter outings or dog walks but surely not work gloves as the description states. Two of the fingers just have a light fleece covering that can't stand much wear at all.
Better than non-heated gloves but no foolproof
I have Raynaud's Syndrome and love being outdoors in winter, and also do photography. I have had a pair of heated gloves from Cabella's, quite bulky and hard to manage, but they allowed me to be outdoors. I thought these would be superior. I wore these on outings on two cold days and was disappointed as my fingers got somewhat cold. I just did a side by side (indoors) comparison with my Cabella's gloves and found that they are roughly equivalent, although I think the wires are in different places -- these are a little better on the backs of the hands, the Cabella's might be better on the palms, but not much. These are less bulky and much more user friendly in terms of operating the batteries. The two lower settings are useless, the highest (red) setting lasts about 2 hours, so I bought an extra set of batteries online (from Al's). I am going to keep both gloves, mainly to have a back-up for extended outings but will use the Outdoor Research gloves as the primary because they are less bulky and easier to use.
They work well
These stay warm longer than any heated gloves we have previously bought, and we've been through several brands in an attempt to bicycle through winter despite reynauds syndrome. The heat is precisely where it needs to be, and the item works as described.
