Nice thick lining - great for cold weather

Well made with large snaps (no buttons). One front pocket and two hand warming pockets. Very thick lining. Excellent for cold winter evenings. I would buy this shirt again in another color.

Great shirt/jacket all around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got one of these shirts for Christmas a few years back and immediately took it to Rainy Lake for a fishing trip. It is perfectly warm. Thick enough to stand up against the wind, but not so bulk as to infringe movement when fishing. I wanted a few more right away and got two more for next camping adventure. I go to the Boundary Waters a lot. It's exactly what it says in "Campshire" shirt. It's half jacket, half shirt. The perfect match for around camp and for on the water. Sized accurately. The only issue w/ this color was that it is more drab than defined like it shows it in the picture.

Da bomb shirt jacket

An excellent shirt jacket, soft and warm like a blanket, but not overly heavy. Love it indoors on the weekend and cooler evenings. Very attractive as well.

Great shirt/jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got one of these for Christmas a couple of years ago and immediately took it to Rainy Lake for a fishing trip. It is perfectly warm. Thick enough to stand up against the wind, but not so bulky that it binds. I wanted a few more right away and got two for my next camping adventure. It's exactly what it says in "Campshire" shirt. It's half jacket, half shirt. The perfect match around camp and for on the water. I had to get it back from my buddy who kept wearing on those not freezing, but not warm enough to fish w/o it days!!!

Cool flannel with soft lining

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a flannel with a bit of warmth added. This shirt jacket is great, very lightweight so don't expect it to be a heavyweight shacket. XL fits me well I'm a 235 lbs 5'11 guy, it's true to size, the side pocket can fit my phone but it's not fully secured because it doesn't go that deep, it's mainly for my hands to be kept warm so I store my phone or wallet elsewhere. I like the color, I mainly wear it with a t shirt underneath. The sleeves are nylon material and not like the fleece on the inside

If you like it buy 2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I would have ordered 3 of these when I got my first one 2 years ago. I wear it all the time and it's starting to show. The fit is great and not as boxy as some other brands. I'm a slim 6.2, wear a small, and the length is perfect. It's super warm and comfortable. I love the snaps and was excited to see they brought them back in this year's version, but am not super stoked on the latest patterns. Really wish they'd at least keep at least 1 or 2 of the classic flannel patterns each year.

Good deal

Pretty much exactly what I wanted. I believe the price point with the great members discount, helped me finally choose this, which I have been shopping for months about. Thank you, REI.

Changed since the last I

I bought one of these shirts years ago and really loved it, but it was starting to get worn out and buttons were falling off so I ordered this to replace it. It's definitely not the same shirt. It has less insulation, is a tighter fit in the shoulders, and is made with an exterior fabric that wrinkles really easily. I would return it, but I washed it before wearing it. It's still a decent mid-weight shirt, just not as good as my previous one.

The perfect light jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This most recent version is just perfect. Snaps all the way up the front and on the cuffs. Quick on, quick off, and so, so comfy. It adds just enough warmth, and it just barely hugs you all the way up and down (no drafts) yet moves easily. I leave it on all day and forget I have on a jacket. I hope North Face makes this campshirt shirt/jacket forever because I will be back over and over to get this for the rest of my life

I would buy this flannel fleece again and again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The is one of my all-time favorite pieces of clothing! It is so versatile and warm, but not too bulky. I use it year round: around the house or as a mid-layer in winter, and camping evenings in the summer. I love the smooth inside sleeves for slipping over a layer without bunching up, and the snaps! My only complaint is there is not a women's version currently offered.
