Great Helmet
Im recently retired at 63 and one first gifts was an Fat-Tire E-Bike. Tried on many helmets and the Trex brand fit good. I liked the large visor & the "WaveCel" system that I'm hoping will shade my scalp. Wanted white so needed to order on-line. Shipping was why the rating dropped. Outer box showed up torn/crushed. No filler for the display box which must of bounced around good. Granted, it's a helmet and it's fine. They must of been quite a hurry to ship it. They forgot to take the anti-theft tag off it. --John
Protection and comfort
Purchased this helmet because of the wave cell protection technology it provides, the generous coverage area it provides, is easily adjustable, has a large visor and comfortably fits on my large noggin. … Worth the price in my opinion.
Fits Very Good
Fits my fat head really well, comfortable and feels safe. Only issue underside of the visor is gloss black and picks up reflection from the trail which is annoying, may paint or put some type of dull tape on it.
BOA string broke, no recourse, helmet is useless
The BOA string that tightens the helmet broke. BOA won't warranty it despite their alleged lifetime warranty on BOA closures; points to Trek. Trek says contact retailer. REI won't touch it. Shortest use I've gotten from any helmet, a few months over a year, just enough for REI to evade.

I like the cell technology, but coverage on the sides is lacking.
Your brain isn't cheap, why buy a cheap helmet?
Great safe helmet! Very comfortable even for long rides! Already took one tumble in it going downhill and it held up well, not to mention protecting my noggin!
