Fix your rear derailleur yourself!

I was having issues with my rear derailleur a few years ago. I decided to purchase this Park Tool to remedy the situation myself. The build quality is great. It's easy to use, and really makes rear derailleur hanger adjustments simple. They have a newer version now. I'm not sure what the differences are. I know that I saved money by repairing my bike myself. This tool has paid for itself a few times over now... I've fixed about half a dozen different bikes with it.
