Lacks durability
I've worn these for less than a month and mostly indoors at the office. The heel is already splitting.
Found...at REI
I suffer from painful Neuropathy and finding shoes that remain comfortable the entire day has been a task. I spied the Teva ReEmber Slip-Ons, and tried them on. They were SO comfortable. I am enjoying them as slippers, and even go outside to ffill the bird-feeders, or get a bag of firewood. They are substantial, comfortable, and please Teva...do not stop manufacturing them, as I plan on remaining a loyal Teva customer.
Not as comfy as they seem, not as durable either.
These Tevas have a unique look and get compliments often but I wouldn't recommend them for feet that require cushion. The quilted look makes them look like you'd be walking on clouds but that's not the case. The rubber outsole is rather stiff and the insole is not cushioned. Also, the midsole became unglued from the outsole too soon and I only wear them occasionally. As for fit, they are very wide, even with socks. I use mine as slippers when I'm just chilling around the house.
Slipper 2.0
These things are awesome! They are a good do-it-all shoe, walk the dog, run out for a quick errand, hanging at the crag, etc. Only thing (and this could be just my specific foot) is that there is decent heel slip if you do anything above a casual walking pace, a brisk walk is enough to have the back slip off for me. Not a deal breaker at all though, I didn't buy these for hustling around--just as a quick step up from my house slipper if I want to bop around outside the house. I would certainly reccomend these to anyone, the yellow is so fun too !
Super sad that they fall apart
Super comfortable and a cool look. But in less than a year of wear -- most of that indoors in my own home -- they start to fall apart. And Teva won't repair, replace or even acknowledge the shoes. In fact, they told me that they weren't authentic to the brand (suggested that they were fakes). Won't buy Teva shoes again. Not at these prices.
Unisex sizing not accurate for women
My original pair of these slippers is ready for retirement after many enjoyable years of near-daily wear indoors and out, so I ordered a new pair. I was delighted to see that the design and tread haven't changed. However, when I slipped them on, I immediately discovered that the sizing is different. The tag inside my original slippers says they are a size 8 women's and Euro size 39. The new pair is described as size M6/W8, but it just says men's 6 on the box and the tag inside says Euro size 38—a size smaller than my first pair. If a women's size 8 usually fits you perfectly, your toes will be cramped in these. I'd give this product five stars if the slippers were the right size for women. My old ones were so comfortable and never too hot or too cold. Other retailers are still offering these slippers in women's sizes, so I don't know why REI is only offering unisex sizing. Disappointing.
Like wearing slippers out of the house
I love my ReEmbers. I walk out of the house in them thinking I forgot to change out of my slippers. They are soft and comfy and I like that they can be worn as slip ons or with the full heel for more support. They will be great camp shoes on my next trip. For sizing, I’m between 8.5 and 9 women’s and the 9’s are just right for me.
foot slides out
Comfortable, but not a good “walking” shoe. Foot keeps wanting to slide out and the back support isn’t much support at all. Would be best for hanging around in one/small area
Comfortable
Really loved these shoes, they turn into slip-ons when you fold in the back with your feet as you slide them in. Looks good and can wear with anything anywhere. Comfortable shoes and wore everyday (as shoes, not slippers). After only 6 weeks, the first layer of the soles have peeled off an inch from the front part on both shoes. Returned and got a different brand of shoes.
Not long lasting for warmth.
Loved these the first 2 years. This winter they don't seem to keep my feet warm at all. I've treated them very nicely, only wearing indoors. Why do they suddenly feel like 9.99 Kmart slippers? Guessing the down is compressed. Not worth the $$
