Fun and grippy

I'm really impressed with how grippy these are! After I'd swapped the too-big size 4 for a good-fit 3.5, I wore them climbing. They're a bit tight to get on, but the heel loop is big enough for a finger or a carabiner to attach them to your harness. They made scrambling up boulders to set up anchors a breeze, and I finished the day wearing them for an easy 3c route as I'd tied in without my climbing shoes on. The soles are quite stiff so sadly I don't want to run in them, but for a street-to-crag ascent they're great. I got the ones in tan and teal and they perfectly match my jacket. (I'm a 4 in running shoes, so I'd say go half size down.)

Soles wear far too quick

I absolutely loved these shoes at first. They were very comfortable and looked really good. Fast forward 3 weeks and the grip has worn out in places on the sole. Really really disappointed now.

Disappointed Again

This pair looks very nice, elite & quality. The problem is the width is VERY narrow and very tight on the foot's comb. I attached 2 images beside another 2 pairs of the same uk/size 10.5. I think the pictures tell the different much better than the words. This shoes is for SLIM foot only, therefore I highly do not recommend t.

Grip like superglue

Bought for mountain biking and what can I say, the grip is unreal, they are stiff enough for riding and have a protective strip around the toe for protection, god for walking in and fit true to size, with toe wiggle room although they felt narrow , perfect as a 3 season dry mtb shoe , I had been wearing the terrex trail protect all year round but I’ll save those for winter

Good purchase

I needed a walking trainer and preferred the style of this trainer over other walking shoes. The tread/sole is not as hard as trail running shoes which is also a bonus. So far so good, they have good grip and keep my feet dry in wet weather. Maybe later I will upgrade the insole but overall they do what I want them to do. Quality from Fiveten/Adidas is brilliant.

Well made but tight and limited cushioning

I typically take size 9.5uk and have wide foot. I previously bought cloudfoam winter.rdy that fitted very well. However, i found these very snug to tight fit. Wearing on a hot day (for trekking) I knew these would become uncomfortable so had to return. Otherwise, build quality is very good. Snug entry to show but opens in mid foot. Great grip. Could do with more cushion. I can imagine the feet would tire on a long walk. I suspect this simply doesn't have the cushioning by design as it's essentially a tennis type shoe with a tough outer unlike a cloudfoam forn example. A terrex range shoe would provide great cushion but then you compromise on aesthetics and the sleek everyday look of this shoe.

Supper Supportive

A very supportive and comfortable shoe that is ideal for walking and daily wear. I love the Five ten shoes and use them for mountain biking and this Five Tennie is just as good but for daily use. I find the Five Ten range a great fit in width and length where a lot of shoes come short on width as I’m slightly wider than most it would seem.

Great hiking shoe

It's a great shoe, comfortable but looks nice. I like that it has a narrow stylish shape. I have only been using it for a few weeks now but so far seems like good a quality, well-built shoe. I would say that the size is fine but if you do a lot of hiking or some more challenging terrains you should probably go half a size up. It gets a bit too hot for my feet in it during these summer months but should be OK outside of the warmest temperatures. I did not regret getting it and would buy it again if given the choice.

Comfortable and tough

These approach shoes are for leisure walks and hiking trips. The sock-like construction of the shoes will give you a snug fit. The toe box is on the slight narrow fit but if you have been wearing Adidas shoes then that shouldn't be an issue. The trusty stealth rubber underneath of the shoes are perfect for those wet and muddy conditions. Also, the extra layer on the toe box is a bonus to have. The whole design of the shoes is very 90s, I love the colour combo with the pink laces.
