Sheds uncontrollably
Purchased the joy/pitch blue because the fit and print were exactly what I was looking for. As much as I wanted to keep this, I returned because it shed relentlessly. Took it off and the black undershirt I had had millions of micro plastic pieces all over it. Gets all over your car and anything you come into contact with. Not sure what’s going on with these, but they are clearly defective. Washed and lint rolled over and over and it never got any better. Just a heads up.
Wow, Patagonia has gone downhill
This thing sheds so much. I noticed on first wear that this fleece was shedding fibers like crazy. My seatbelt was absolutely covered in them. I read some other reviews that said to wash it several times and that would stop the shedding. I washed it three times and it’s still shedding. A lot. Disappointing that Patagonia would make something this bad, and that REI would choose to sell it.
Lasts Forever with Iconic Good Looks
I have one of these Lightweights that's more than 10 years old and is still in pristine condition. I like the new Salvia Green (watch you don't mis-spell that word "salvia") so I am going to add it to my Patagucci collection. Two words of advice: First, to eliminate lint, wash the garment before your first wearing. Second, never NEVER place it in the dryer! Totally unnecessary = it dries quickly on its hydrophobic own.
Shedding?
Sheds relentlessly. Not sure if it’s the color (Joy/Pitch Blue) or if there’s a decrease in quality overall (I haven’t had this issue with older synchillas). I’ve washed it twice yet it still leaves a fuzzy trail wherever I go.
Vessel Blue For The Win
If you often find yourself next to the lake or at the beach this Summer, and it gets chilly when the Sun goes down, I strongly recommend you grab one of these in the Vessel Blue colorway. I got it because those are my favorite colors; and I never expected to get so many compliments and questions from total strangers. Function-wise, it's oh-so-comfy and you can either stand the collar up or fold it down.
Can’t go wrong with a Patagonia Fleece
Everybody already knows you can’t go wrong with a Patagonia fleece. I wear this often. It may be a little pricey but I definitely have already gotten my money’s worth out of it and have owned this particular one for less than 4 months
Sheds a lot!
I like the warmth, lightweight, the color the style, and the comfort. The only problem is the shedding. I washed it twice, and ran Dyson through it (both collected a lot of sheds), and it still keeps shedding. To understand if it would eventually stop shedding, I experimented by keep gently pulling fibers from a penny-sized area, and here is the fur ball I collected (see photo). For this entire, jacket, you could probably collect a baseball-sized fur before it can stop shedding.
snap t
the size fits well and is suitable for any type of exercise, the contrasting colors also look great, very stylish!
Pretty Nice!
It sheds really easy even after a wash so I just lint rolled it a couple times and seems to be shedding much less!
Never stopped shedding.
Never stopped shedding fibers everywhere. Tired of inhaling plastic fibers. Wish I could return.
